Ike's Love & Sandwiches — Restaurant in Avondale

Excited to try this place , placed an online order for pickup with estimate of ready in 15 min. Arrived 15 later , walked in to a completely empty restaurant with a few people huddled around a laptop at one table . Nobody behind service counter , no greeting . After standing there for a bit , one of the people at the table (they were employees ?) walked over and asked if it was my first time in. I let them know it was and that I was there to pickup my order (2 sandwiches). They seemed unaware that they had an order queued , walked over and picked up the printout and told me they would make my food . So....I waited for food to be prepped even though I ordered online -pointless. No apology or sense of urgency . Customer service in this place was obviously not a priority. Sandwiches are OK, lots of bread compared to meats . For the price they ask for the sandwiches and the non existent customer service , not worth it IMO. Newly established. I went on Saturday afternoon and they're in the process of training their staff. Took a while to get my sandwich but it was expected (15min). The staff is young and hopefully will grow with experience and continue to provide great customer service as time goes on. The music was pretty loud so I felt forced to speak louder when ordering. There are a lot of options on the menu and I decided on the Da Vinci. Good sandwich. $16 for a sandwich and chips. At this point I'd like to encourage attentiveness and recommend that their staff wear something to protect their hair from getting in the food. I also hope they'll continue to keep the restaurant clean inside and out as there is a lot of loitering in this...

Went her for the first time to try there sandwiches. Didn't expect to spend 33$ for two . The sandwich I wanted I couldn't get unless I substituted the chicken for something else because they were out of chicken. So I chose steak . The young girl working there charged me for extra steak when I never asked for it . I left the order as it was anyway.
