I'm like a food critic without the license, and I came from Alaska, so I came to this place after the gym, lol. Had a craving, and the sign says open 24 hours driving up. I have massive high-quality taste buds for food and more on the menu to try out. The Epic Guacamole Chicken Burrito was one MASSIVE Burrito and tasted fresh with all the ingredients it comes in and comes with a very light kick of spice texture inside so by far the best I've tried in Bakersfield for a fast food place so far since I've been here for about several month, and the customer service named "Marco" on the intercom was very well mannered and helpful throughout my time checking everything on the menu and he shown a lot of patience on allowing me to take my time figure out what I wanted to order on the menu and even gave me a helpful tip on a really good Burrito to try out that I will for sure try next time Lord Willing. I'm a BIG fan of avocado, and I was soooo bumbed out that they didn't have any Guacamole at all, like ZERO in the they storage and he was very apologetic about it and I was like it's not your fault bro. It's the managers fault or the boss or supervisor that handles the shipping orders that they fast-food place needs at all times to keep happy customers like me coming back, because I almost canceled my order at the window but I was offered something else to add in my Burrito to substitute for no Guacamole so that offer made my night still to pay for my Burrito at the window. Overall, everything tasted fresh and was very fulfilling with massive portions in the Burrito👍, so what I tried so far was perfect massive portion Burrito for the right price to have a happy belly of enjoyment. If you wanna enjoy their food, then come when he is working on his shifts and complements to the cook in the back also. You can park and come inside when they lobby is open or walk here and enjoy the amazing atmosphere they have and the clean environment while dining in or drivethrough. They also have condiments to get or ask for. I highly recommend them for when you're hungry or family dine in or if you're in a hurry. I have a few recommendations, I would request bigger flyer singns what you have when people drive by on the main roads for a more viewable seen and attraction and better speaker sound to hear outside or new headsets for the employees or both!. Also and make hole seations on the drivethrough because it gets full of water in the drivethrough. Wonderful experience here, and I'll be for be sure to come back for more and other food to try out on the menu. First of all I am a big fan of Del Taco, I have always loved their food. Tonight I went to DT to purchase and bring home dinner for the family. When placing our order we asked why we don't see a sides section on the menu, you have to look all over the board to try to find anything, I'm sure that's on Del Taco not the store, necessarily. We ordered a family pack which consists of 6 tacos (soft or crunchy)and we paid for an upgrade to make them chicken, and six bean burritos (red or green sauce). Since it wasn't on the menu board we had to ask if a side of rice was available. It was like pulling teeth to get the cashier to open her mouth and just say yes loud enough for us to hear her. Finally we ordered a quesadilla. The outcome of the food is: the quesadilla was good like always. The rice container was barely half full but but at least it was only .80¢. The tacos were on the dry side, not as much white sauce as there was in the past, and only a pinch of cheese. HELLOOOO TACO! Needs cheese. The burritos were good but not much needs to go into a bean burrito, however, when will restaurants learn that when you make a burrito you don't put the fillings in then roll it up the opposite way. One of my pet peeves is not getting any sauce in my burrito until I get to the end. Icing on the cake was when we were handed our food we got a "thank you" while she was turning away from us, no smile on her face. I certainly did not feel welcome or appreciated for spending my hard earned money so they could have jobs. I would complain to Del Taco but there are so many franchises out there these days they really don't want to hear about any complaints.
