Tacos La Villa Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Bakersfield

FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!!!!! I was a regular customer at La Villa up until today. This morning I checked my bank account, like I do everyday, and saw a $10+ transaction from La Villa on Union, the last few times that i have been there I payed cash so I was very surprised to see the transaction on my transaction history as I have not used my card to pay lately, so I called to ask why there was a charge on my card when I have been paying with cash the last few times and I have never spent $10+, it's usually always $7-$8 so that was another surprise. so when I spoke to the manager on duty he didn't even understand me even though I was speaking Spanish so he handed the phone to the cashier who was being really rude and not even acknowledging the situation , all she said was that it may have been a purchase that I made weeks ago and was barely processing, uhmm no that's definitely not it because like I said, I have never spent more than $8 and the charge was for $10+, when I told her that couldn't be it she then told me to call my bank and they would refund me the money if it wasn't me that made that purchase, ok no problem, but then what happens to the $$ that was already charged? Obviously they pocket it. And how the hell do they have my card info? I have used this card before there but not this last time so they obviously keep some sort of record on file so they can keep charging random cards. Never again will I be ordering from La Villa anymore as much as I love their tacos and lemonade. THIS IS FRAUD. EVERYONE BE AWARE AND CHECK YOUR TRANSACTION...

This is my second favorite La Villa, after the one on N. Chester. Yesterday I went there for a veggie burrito. Unlike the other La Villa, they put cheese and sour cream on their burritos. I didn't complain. It was delicious. I'll just remember to ask them next time not to. There's always some funny stuff going on around this La Villa location (Union Ave.), so I always like to eat in the dining room to enjoy the show. Thanks to the full spread of windowed walls, you get to watch people disrobing, drug deals (I presume), dogs pooping on sidewalks, people talking to themselves and sometimes even yelling! There's a stoplight right in front of the restaurant so there's always a race to see who's least patient driver and can get to the stoplight first. Yesterday a fellow diner asked if I can do wheelies on my motorcycle... Unfortunately I can't, but suddenly I'm inspired to learn just to show him next time how much I'm...

Ordered our usual at this restaurant - one regular burrito, one supreme, and two tacos. Although the supreme was fine, the regular burrito was drenched, and I mean DRENCHED, in oil. Absolutely disgusting and ruined the entire experience. My entire bag, and the paper and foil the burrito comes wrapped in, were full of wet napkins because of the oil and even then, I hadn’t gotten all of the oil off. Not sure why this time was different as it’s generally a good place to eat at but they definitely will never get my service again. I feel sick to my stomach that they would think it’s okay to serve that. They also got the order wrong....
