Taqueria Rinconcito Oaxaqueño — Restaurant in Bakersfield

This is INSIDE the gas station, some indoor seating and you order before you sit. Only stumbled upon this because I was craving soup and the pho places weren’t open yet when I was driving through on my roadtrip. Took a chance on the reviews as very happy with the Menudo.

Broth was a bit thick so probably has a decent amount of fat but it was tasty, the pieces of tripe were perfect bite size, easy to chew, soft, and tasted clean. Came with lemon, cilantro, onion, a chilli oil, and tortillas.

It was HOT and fresh when it came out. Would return here next time I’m driving through!
