Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Balch Springs

Long story short I got there at 9 PM was supposed to pick up my order at 9:18 from the time I got there at 9 PM. I was disrespected by the Male employee and ignored when he finally answered me. I asked him am I supposed to pick up my food in the drive-through or inside? He acts like he doesn't understand what l'm saying so I proceed to go back to the drive-through. The line was extremely long. No cars were moving by the time, we finally got to the window it. It had already been over an hour I tell the lady my name she's the only one that's actually working other ones are on their phone chitchatting or counting moneyl see her packing my food when she's done packing my food. She starts to try to close the bag so l asked her not to do that because I plan on checking it before I drive off she proceeds to bring my food to the window to hand it to me I grab it. I open the bag and noticed that my macaroni and cheese is not in there and my zesty ranch is not in there but I do notice that an extra mashed potato is so l tell the lady my mac & cheese and my zesty ranch isn't in my bag she then tells that they are out of macaroni and cheese so then it clicks as to why there was an extra mashed potato because she was trying to get away with not putting my mac & cheese in there so then I proceed to tell her you can't just substitute what you decide you wanna substitute it for that's only a decision that a customer can make given. Ok so I have always loved Church's Chicken especially as a kid/teen. When I became an adult they fell way off with service, food, cleanliness, etc. That's why some of them closed. I say that to say this.... The Church's Chicken on Lake June in Balch Springs is the only one I go to now. It doesn't matter that I can pass at least four or more on my way there. The service I receive now that the rude Hispanic lady is gone is amazing 🤩. Mr.Muhammad is now the manager if not the owner of the establishment. He is very fair and nice. The staff he have is great also. Now about the food even though the prices increased due to the economy, The food have been delicious and hot everytime I have went. I'm in love with their biscuits!!!! I'm not a bread / biscuit eater I usually would just throw them out the window for a dog or cat to eat. But since the change in management I have been ordering EXTRA biscuits!!!!! They are exactly how I remember them as a kid/ teen!!!!! I kid you not today when I went through the drive-thru I had already ordered so I went and parked and went in and got some food for my siblings. I was telling Mr.Mohammad how much I love the improvement he has done to the restaurant, staff and food. And ESPECIALLY THE BISCUITS!!! There was a guy in the drive thru who heard me and said he wanted 5 extra biscuits just because how enthused I was about them!!!! I wish I could give NEGATIVE STARS!!!! I ORDERED THE 3 PIECE MIXED, JUST WANTING A PIECE OF WHITE MEAT, NOT ONLY DID THEY CHARGE ME FOR IT AND NOT GIVE IT TO ME, THE LEG AND THIGH I RECEIVED WAS BURNT, DRY, TOO CRISPY TO EAT..... COMPLETELY INEDIBLE AND DISAPPOINTING AND WHEN YOU TRY TO CALL THE RESTAURANT IT RINGS AND RINGS AND THEN HANGS UP ON YOU!!!!
