VISIT 8/9/25 DISCLAIMER: It was NOT busy during my visit. FOOD: 5/5 -Extremely HOT (temp), very flavorful, well seasoned meal. -For a LARGE they served me a HUGE portion which i had to take home for dinner, definitely worth the $$$ -I asked for very SPICY yet it was not spicy at all, but admittedly i do have a high spice tolerance. (meal was still delicious)
-IMPORTANT OBSERVATION: -When it comes to drinks i was expecting a soda/drink fountain like most places, however in this location they let you choose your drink (which consists of /small soda cans/coke bottles etc) they provide a glass with ice to self pour. SERVICE: 5/5 -Very friendly and charismatic, as well as bilingual which is great for the area. When asked about the menu, answers i was provided were confident and concise.
-In the midst of my meal staff moved a fan towards my direction due to the slight warm temperature, i did not ask for that yet i acknowledge and I'm grateful for their kind gesture. Thanks BUILDING: 5/5 -The lobby was clean and well organized, tables were spotless. -There were no foul odors inside however outside the building a foul stench of sewer engulfed the area. (I do not know the source of the foul odor thus i cannot deduct points from this) CONCLUSION: 4/5 -I haven't been to this location in almost a decade (10 years) so my visit could be considered "brand new" the food was absolutely delicious, very hearty portions for the "LARGE" option. -Staff were very friendly and helpful as well as considerate and observant.
-My only complaint/concern is the lack of a ITEMIZED bill, given my order did not come with a drink thus i ordered a PEPSI CAN, alas it did not show up on my receipt leaving me to wonder how much the drink cost, given their ORANGE CHICKEN PLATTER is $13.75 (not sure if that's before/after tax) leading me to conclude my drink may have been in the range of ($3.55 -$3.80)
-Other than that this location serves great food with great service, i recommend...
Read moreI always call ahead and order for pickup. I usually get a combo fried rice, but have tried many of the other items on the menu, and have yet to be disappointed. They use fresh vegetables, not frozen ones. The portions are good, especially for the price. Their main dishes come with fried rice and an egg roll. For takeout orders, you get some soy sauce, duck sauce, a fork, napkins, a fortune cookie, and hot sauce (on request). They only accept cash, no cards. For call-in orders, they're usually ready by the time you arrive. For drive-thru orders, you will be asked to pull around and park. (If a car pulls up behind you.) The Kung Pao Shrimp/Chicken/Beef/Pork are very good. The Orange Chicken and Sesame Chicken are similar in appearance but have a distinctive final taste, both are delicious. The Lo Mein has nice crunchy vegetables. The egg rolls here are the best. I also enjoy the Crab Ragoon (Cheese Wontons), they taste very fresh. The drinks here are more expensive, and there are no free refills on anything...
Read moreOK, this is is an old Dairy Queen building with washed out paint that has been converted. There is a collection of furniture that doesn't match, the plates are old and chipped and it is CASH ONLY. So the atmosphere is grungy. A person eating with us had a comical argument with the server, he hates vegetables, wanted his food without vegetables, She said she couldn't do that on the lunch special, period. It was funny and at the same time uncomfortable. She really wanted to give him vegetables, and she did, serving his meal with a pile of bell peppers. So, I played it safe and scored with the Orange Chicken special. It had the right amount of spice but best of all, it didn't have that soggy texture that is so common, the breading was light and crunchy with good pieces of chicken within and coated in a thick syrup of orange spicy sweet sauce. It was delicious. My other friend ordered Sesame Chicken and he loved it, it looked about the same. If you don't mind the atmosphere, the food is...
