First of all, I had one taste here and I’ve been hooked. So going to Equitea is weekly visit for me which I use as self care. The owner, Quentin, is such a humble, welcoming and genuine being. I love the care and attention he puts into making each crafted drink. I love how unique the ingredients are, like having apple sugar and maple sugar to sweeten the drinks. The space is large with adequate space to sit inside and outside. Equitea will change your perspective of the “grassy” flavor of matcha, and make you a life time lover. I’ve had the yuzu matcha soda, lavender oat milk matcha with apple sugar, dirty iced matcha, dirty horjicha iced matcha several times and they are PERFECT each time. Talk about consistency. The matcha Rice Krispie treat and matcha pound cake are AMAZING also.

Hands down my favorite matcha spot! Every visit feels like a treat—not just because of the drinks (which are consistently amazing), but because of the incredible hospitality. Quentin, the owner, goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. You can tell he genuinely cares about the experience and the community he’s built around this place. Whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth, you’re greeted with the same kindness and attention to detail. It’s always a vibe, and it’s always worth the visit!

Visited Equitea when they were just a matcha popup down the street. It's experienced some major viral growth, due to both the popularity of matcha and also the aesthetic presentation of their drinks. Love that they include some fresh garnish on top of the drink. Their matcha is much less sweet than something you'd get at other cafes or boba shops, which was a welcome change. Back when I visited, they had lavender and strawberry flavors as well.
