It was ok! We arrived on time for our reservation. It wasn’t very crowded and was able to get seated. We sat upstairs, and the bartender was also the server, as it started to get a little crowded our service started to slow down. We pre paid for our bottomless, mimosas online we had no issues with them continuously keeping the glasses full, but the issue I did have is that they changed what we were drinking three times we started out drinking brut, and then they went to a rosé, and then they switch to a prosecco I’m not someone that could mix my alcohols and I ended up getting sick at the end of the day. The food overall was decent. I had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was greasy an extra salty, but the waffle was decent, the home fries were amazing the other two people in my party had the steak and eggs one of the steaks for cooked perfect One of them was extremely over done and they ended up accommodating our bill for that issue. I would definitely return, I would know what to order and I would definitely not do the bottomless mimosas If they’re going to switch up the alcohol, I would just order my drinks from the bar. It’s also great views and sometimes they have a DJ.

We stumbled across this restaurant this past Saturday while in town for the Ravens game. Immediately when walking up the pathway there is a menu plastered on the sign. Plz heed because that was NOT the menu we were serviced for. Which was sad because we were excited about what we previewed before walking in. After being seated, we were asked if checks were separate, and since they were we could only order from the bar, meaning we had to get up and down from the table top to order more items. Me and my friend ordered their mussels with the white wine sauce, mine were delicious and smelled fine, but hers were rancid and had a distinct taste. I’m not sure if she just received an old batch or what but it was disappointing. Her French toast was also VERY burnt and the manager goes “yea they are a little burnt”, lol at this point the jokes are flying. The tavern sangria tastes like a glass of cheap wine, no garnishes of any kind and from what I seen the bartender pour, a splash of orange juice. Please also be aware that if you don’t like it, you still have to pay for it. That’s mentioned on their menus, which I feel like is a sign that they constantly deal with issues.

I hosted a holiday party here for my company in mid-January. We had a previous location cancel on us and came to Fells Point Tavern in a pinch. Barbara, the event planner, was very nice and easy to work with. She made sure we could have a great event at our price point. We had about 45 people and had the entire place for a few hours on a Saturday night. The restaurant was decorated beautifully and our group fit in the space well. It was so nice out that they had the front windows open and we got to enjoy the patio out front as well. What a treat for January! We had the tasting menu from their sister restaurant Mezze. The food was great, and the waiters and bartenders were great and very attentive. Tables did need to be broken down in order to have enough space to dance, and the food took a little longer between courses than expected, but overall everyone had a great time, and I would recommend them for a private party/corporate event!

Horrible restaurant. The food came out slow even though it was not crowded. The music was so loud that we couldn't have a conversation while sitting OUTSIDE. My friends and I were on a budget so we only ordered 1 entree each. I got a spongy burger with a glob of sriracha on one side. My friend ordered fish tacos and got 3 tiny flatbread pieces filled with pico de gallo. The worst part was the service. Just slow and lazy. Our waiter got our order wrong and had to come back to get it a second time. When he did, it took ages to get our food. The outdoor seating is so bad that my rear was hurting by the time we got our food. Then he asks me if i'm done and reaches for my plate while i'm still eating. He comes back before we say we are done, with the check. One check, for 5 separate people. Of course there was a hearty gratuity added. When we ask for separate checks, he comes back with a pen and tells us to write down what we spent and tells us that he will divide it. We each spent around $12 on food, no drinks. I put in 25 and expect 10 in change, letting him keep the rest. My other friend put in 20 in cash and spent eleven. My other 2 friends use credit cards and write down their numbers next to what they spent. When he comes back, there is no change in the bill. We go to the back to find him talking to 3 other waiters, all standing around. When we ask him about the bill, he tries to explain that he gets to keep all of our money. I demand 10 in change and explain that my friend had the entire bill charged to his card. He talks around it, saying my friend will get a refund and that we will get change. I get my 10 and we leave. Then he follows us down the sidewalk saying we DIDN'T PAY ENOUGH. I had to explain for the 3rd time that i got $12 in food, payed him $25, and expected $10 back. I wouldn't have let him keep the money if I knew he was robbing us. The experience completely killed the mood and left an awkward stain on the day. Now, a few days later, we realize what happened. We got about $60 in food, then he added 20% gratuity before we could ask for separate checks. He then charged the whole meal to my friends card(he still hasn't got the refund), charged $26 to my other friends card, and took all of our cash for himself. We ended up paying a total of $142. For $60 of food. He stole from customers and the owner of the restaurant and deserves to be fired. If I owned Fells Point Tavern, I would fire Carlos...

Not truly disliked, just very frustrated and disappointed. Have eaten here several times before with a wonderful experiences but was greatly disappointed on Saturday August 16th. It was explained to us that Kali's (where our reservation had been made 6 weeks ago) and their sister restaurant have temporarily merged due to renovations within Kali's. No notice of the change prior to arrival, but since they had a table for our party of 8 at 7pm, we were happy. The table, however, was one for 6 where we physically could not fit. The hostess said she would return to address. When our waiter arrived to take our order and apparently did not notice four of us were sitting half off the ends of the table, it required a second request from us to have a table for two added to our current table. While the food was good, the kitchen was already out of 4 different items at 7pm and 3 of our tapas orders never arrived. Another concern: a Baltimore restaurant out of crab soup??! The waiter/restaurant did provide the 8 of us with 3 small dessert offerings, but after 3 hours, the gesture fell a little short. Another group was complaining loudly of a 2 hour wait with no food and walked out. We felt their pain, and their frustration carried to the street. Very disappointing that such a lovely venue completely fell apart with this transition. Obviously the kitchen and wait staff were completely overwhelmed, but acknowledging the issue would have been professional and soothed a lot of irritations around the room. Prior notice of the limited tapas menu (we expected the full Kali's menu until we sat down) would have been the respectful thing to do to their patrons with reservations. Since this was an Open Table reservation, notification would have been very simple to execute. Everything was poorly handled and not one apology offered. In the end, our 8 left disappointed and...

I chose this place based on previous experiences, but today was downright hilariously bad. In the middle of taking our order, the server left to seat another table. We then waited about 45 minutes for our food, being told the kitchen was backed up. There were 4 other tables with patrons outside, not a single one inside, maybe 10 patrons total. When the table she had left us to seat got their food and we were still waiting, we finally asked about it. 3 minutes later half our food came out, not cold, but warm, definitely not hot. At that point the server apologized again about the 'backed up' kitchen, and said the remaining items would be taken off the check. The remaining items were a cold salad and a yogurt parfait. No word on why those took nearly an hour to prepare, my guess is she didn't put the order in due to seating the other table. When we got the check and everything was still on it, I asked and she said she'd take off just the salad. I asked for more details on what took nearly an hour to put a scoop of yogurt in a bowl with a sliced strawberry and some blueberries and honey. No clarification. The food was not bad, but this was rock bottom service. We left to enjoy the rest of our...
