I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at this restaurant was so appalling that it needs to be called out. We came in as a group of six friends to celebrate a birthday — an occasion we were excited about — but we left absolutely disgusted by the behavior of the staff, especially a waiter named Kiran.
the bill for 6 people was around 450$
Let me break this down:
Automatic 18% Gratuity Before Providing Any Service: They added an 18% gratuity automatically to our bill without informing us, before they had even served us properly. Tipping is earned through good service — not something you can slap onto the bill by default, especially when the service is so poor it borders on hostile.
Refused to Serve Drinks Before Closing: We arrived 20 minutes before closing and tried to place a drink order. Not only were we denied service, but it was done in the most disrespectful way. We weren’t told politely — we were shut down as if we were doing something wrong just by asking. Funny enough, the bar was still open and operating for other tables.
Racist and Discriminatory Treatment: We noticed a disturbing difference in how we were treated versus other guests — especially when it came to basic hospitality. While other tables celebrating birthdays were greeted with smiles and complimentary desserts, we were denied even that. When we asked about it, we were brushed off rudely, as if we didn’t deserve the same treatment. The disparity was blatant and shameful.
Only One Beer Glass for a Table of Six: We ordered beer, and instead of providing individual glasses like any normal restaurant would, they brought ONE glass for all six of us — and then just walked off. No explanation, no apology, nothing. When we asked for more glasses, we were ignored.
Waiter Kiran – Completely Unprofessional and Aggressive: This individual had absolutely no courtesy, no sense of customer service, and zero accountability. At one point, he even raised his voice at us for asking simple questions. His tone was aggressive and his attitude made it clear that we were not welcome.
Food Quality – Below Average at Best: And let’s not even pretend the food made up for any of this. It was bland, poorly presented, and certainly not worth the premium they seem to think they deserve. Definitely not a place where you’d want to celebrate anything — let alone pay an inflated bill for such low quality.
This place is a textbook example of what bad service, toxic staff behavior, and discriminatory hospitality look like. If you’re a person of color, if you expect basic human decency, or if you’re hoping to celebrate anything without being humiliated — stay far, far away from here.
They don’t deserve your business, your celebration, or your tip. We left feeling disrespected, targeted, and robbed — and that’s not something any restaurant should be proud of.
Avoid this place...
Read moreIf there was a way to give zero stars, I would. I’ve never felt more disrespected, ignored, or outright discriminated against in any restaurant until coming here. We were a group of 6 friends celebrating a birthday — and what should’ve been a joyful evening turned into a frustrating, humiliating mess.
Let’s start with the staff behavior. The waiter, Kiran, was beyond rude from the moment we sat down. No greeting, no smile, not even basic decency. He acted like we were a burden just for showing up. When we asked about drinks, he outright refused to serve us — 20 minutes before the closing time. Mind you, we hadn’t even placed our full order yet. Meanwhile, other tables around us were still being served.
Blatant racism — that’s the only explanation for how differently we were treated. Other guests celebrating birthdays were greeted with enthusiasm, given complimentary desserts, and treated like actual customers. We? Nothing. No effort, no acknowledgment, and when we politely asked about it, we were dismissed without any explanation. Just a cold “no.”
Then comes the beer incident — we ordered drinks and were brought just ONE glass for six people. Seriously? What kind of service is that? When we requested more, we were ignored completely. No apology, no fix. Just walked away. It was almost like we weren’t supposed to speak or ask for anything.
To make matters worse, they added an 18% gratuity automatically. For WHAT? For treating us like trash? For shouting at us? For giving us the bare minimum while other guests received decent service? It’s a disgrace that we were forced to tip for being insulted.
The food? Subpar at best. Not worth the money or the disrespect that came with it.
I hope the management reads this and reflects on the kind of environment they’ve created — one where bias, arrogance, and zero accountability have replaced hospitality. We left feeling insulted, unwelcome, and robbed.
This place doesn’t deserve to be in business. We will never return, and I urge others — especially if you value basic respect —...
