This place is decent most of the times and has a pretty good atmosphere however they really need to get with the times what bar/business does not accept cards this day and age and give the only option is cash they offer one atm all the way at the front when you first come in so when the place is full you have to fight your way through the crowd to get to it and then hope that it has money in it which in my case last night it did not so what that means is you can not purchase drinks because they only take cash unless you decide to leave find another atm pay fees to come back to now pay them money for the drinks you had to put in extra effort for to buy and let’s not forget their atm inside also charges a fee so it not understood why a bar of this nature would not accept electronic payments other than not wanting to pay the small transaction fees but instead inconvenience their patrons I don’t think I will be returning I’m one that does not like carrying cash around like that and should not have to go out of my way just to buy a drink it is pretty ridiculous oh and let me mention the rudeness of the vendor they have making the food one of the ladies was very disrespectful to my friend and then they tried to replace fries with chips mind you they charged over 17.00 for a chicken sandwich and fires and to try to give chips instead as well as the sandwich itself not being good at all so poor customer service and no good food not a good look at all...
Read moreMy daughter took me and my bestie to Melba's on May 8th a Saturday night for mother's day. We were dressed very nicely in evening wear and the young lady taking the money tried everything in her power to turn us away. At first she said my daughter couldn't wear flats!! That's right you read that correctly. My daughter had on a nice comfortable pear of flats and she waited until we had passed temp checks, security scan, purse checks, to say flats we're allowed. We go back to the car and she changed into boots with a heel and again the lady waited until we passed all scannings and got to the back only to call us back up front to get one of their masks instead of allowing us to wear the masks we had in our purse. I used to love Melbas but if the door person going to be mean to patrons for no reason. I won't be back and I will spread the word to others that flat shoes and personal mask...
Read moreFraudulent business that plots to steal from customers. They open up the back of the club to get you to pay the entry fee when you first arrive. They have the lights going and music playing. As soon as you walk back there, you find out that there is no dj, only a cd. Then, after a few minutes (no more than 10 to 15) they close the back and force everyone to sit at the front, claiming the owner told them to close it. Then another time I specifically asked do you have the game on and gave all of the details. They said yes. I paid the entry fee. 2 minutes later they said they don't have the channel. Both times they refuse to refund the entry fee. This place has become a scamming business that is no longer trustworthy like they used to be. They should be ashamed...
