I attended the soft opening and I feel like in due time, this place will be a vibe. Our bartender, Karon, was the nicest guy and very professional. The drinks were good but just a bit pricey (for Baltimore). That’s just my opinion. We didn’t get to eat because they weren’t yet serving food. They did have passed hors d’ oeuvres but we weren’t able to get any due to time constraints. I do think I will go back and try the menu once the soft opening phase is done.

With the aesthetics and warm welcome from the owners, this is truly one of my favorite gems of Baltimore. A respect to food and atmosphere, i was entranced by the look of a take on a break on paradise. I enjoyed their meal and company and will return soon Love the Reuben and their happy hour from 4-7 p.m., open daily with a lounge type feel and also a place to get a good meal

Having my birthday celebration at Papillions was the best idea. When I tell you that the customer service, the food and the atmosphere was more than I expected. My guest and I were very happy!!! I would certainly host another event here!!!

I visited here on 8/30. The ambience was nice. The place was decorated nicely. Food & drinks: I order crab dip, henney wings, 2 shots (epsilon & dusse). $98 total.

Food: crab dip was good. But it did taste a tad fishy. But overall it was good. The wings were cool, they taste like the Murray wings in the bag. But they were still good.

It took awhile for the food to come out. What bother me a lil was there was no “I apologize or sorry the food is taking a lil long or it’ll be out within the next….” No acknowledgment whatsoever.

Fast forward when it’s time to pay: they were having problems with the card machine. The bartender did come back once early on and stated that the “she” (idk if she was the owner, manager, or someone in charge) was working on it. But once it again it took a very long time. And he never came back. He didn’t apologize. She didn’t apologize for the delay. (It was a nice little wait) but no one apologized for the inconvenience. And then when it did work and it brought it back over I guess it malfunction again but the bartender attitude towards the situation was unprofessional. I understand shit happens. But I shouldn’t see the frustration on your face. And all that “huffin and puffin” was unprofessional. So when he was over there I was jokingly but serious saying “ you know for this long wait we should get a free shot or something for this inconvenience” but he acted like he didn’t hear me and was talking over me with a slight “tude” saying “what u get what u get” it’s like at this point you could tell he was over it and he took that frustration out on us. (My friend peep the same stuff). And I tried it twice and he did it the both times. Any who we finally paid. This was the icing on the cake. NO GOOD BYE. NO THANK YOU FOR COMING. NO “ONCE AGAIN SORRY FOR WAIT OR INCONVENIENCE “ not from the bartender and not from the lady that seemed to be in charge. Cause she was sitting at the bar as well with her computer. (Earlier) Even with her she could have easily came over “hey sorry the inconvenience, we’re trying to fix the machine (blah blah blah) but here’s a shot on us” or even if they couldn’t give a shot or something for the inconvenience, a simple acknowledgment, apology, or something in that nature would have been better than nothing. That last interaction left a bad taste in my mouth. CUSTOMER SERVICE STARTS FROM THE TIME THE CUSTOMER WALKS IN TO THE TIME THE CUSTOMER WALKS OUT THE DOOR. I’m not asking for anyone to be over animated and jumping over the moon. But I am asking/ demanding that I am treated how you would want to be treated if you were walking in an establishment spending your hard working money. Remember whatever you have going on in your personal life or whatever is happening at work is NOT THE CUSTOMER PROBLEM. Learn how to manage your emotions and not show that your bothered. Bc it spills over to the customers and then you are giving bad customer service. And no one likes to spend money in an establishment where they receive bad...

There were two waitresses and one bartender on a Sunday during Brunch. We were a party of six. It took about 20 minutes just to get our drinks and they all came out separately. There was a 2 hour limit on the bottomless Mimosas but it took very long for them to come and they wouldn't bring out more than one at a time, so they only had about 3. When the food came out not everything came together, a few ladies ordered breakfast platters that came with potatoes and they came out separately. My friend paid a $100 reservation fee to secure our spot and was told that we would have a dedicated server, and we did not. We had to share the only two servers that were there. When we brought this the manager's attention she stated she wasn't sure why we were told that and that there was basically nothing she could do. As we were trying to settle our tabs, a guy with a blue Bill's Jersey on (I didn't get his name) came over and told us that we needed to move to another location because he needed the table. This was the cherry on top. We were clearly wrapping up and instead of letting us finish he rushed us out of the establishment. The servers (who were great) and even the bus boy were apologetic for the slow service. The manager didn't seem to care..... We also watched a party of 4 ladies come in after us then get up and leave because it took about 15 minutes just for them to get water. The place has potential, the food was good, but there was no care or accountability...

We've never felt as unwelcome in any establishment as we did here. When we walk in, the bartender told us to pick any table and someone will come help us. We sat there for 25 minutes and no one checked on us. It was not that busy. When we finally got up to leave, the employee said "instead of sitting there staring at me, why don't you get up and do something!?". I'm sorry, what ? What a bizarre way to speak to customers... There was also a very strong unpleasant air freshener smell throughout the restaurant that I could feel in my throat and nose. Did not set the mood for wanting...
