Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Baltimore

Horrible experience. I won’t stop until I speak to someone in the corporate office. The two girls working the morning shift today needed supervision. They talked so much that people were waiting on their orders while they chatted in the back, in plain sight. I had to remind them that most waiting on their order are on the way to work.

Then my order was incomplete, and instead of an apology, one of them lied to me. I requested that they remake my smoothie and add the add-ons as requested (oats and almonds), but I was told that the manager would be upset if they wasted resources. Instead of remaking the smoothie I was given a refund… (how incompetent). This shows me that this young lady just wanted to make a point because now this location will not get another penny from me.

I will speak to someone in the corporate office. These ladies should NOT work the morning shift if they lack maturity and morals

It was between the hours of 11am and 1130am on 5/27 and the girl with the long weave, light skinned literally ignored me when I walked through i door. I stood at the cash register for at least 3 minutes and she kept her back turned to me and continued to carry on with her conversation to her coworker, they were talking about buying a and dying bundles while I stood there and waited to be acknowledged. The Moment a male walked in the door she turned ti stop her conversation acknowledged him with a hello and continued to take his order although I was still standing at the register now 6 minutes into waiting (mind you I was the first and only person in the store until he walked in) for this reason I give this store a 1 star and will absolutely never recommend going there. I am big on customer service the food can literally be the greatest but if the service is awful you can’t enjoy the experience these young ladies yesterday had attitudes I almost asked like Is everything alright I honestly wanted to cancel the entire order I had to constantly ask the young lady what she was saying she made absolutely no effort for me to hear her and looked at me like I was the problem. She took the smoothie order wrong and the other young girl made it I corrected her and she corrected the receipt the other young lady seen the correction but did not fix my smoothie until I asked she asked what’s wrong I’m like it’s not right she rolls her eyes and asked for the receipt after making the wrong smoothie the right smoothie and my boyfriends I had to ask each time can I please have a straw their facial expressions were rude no masks no gloves just gives a very unpleasant vibe I wish I read the reviews before coming to this location I will never be returning to this...
