Blue Moon At 430 Main Street — Restaurant in Barnstable

So I stopped by the Blue Moon Restaurant on Main Street, Hyannis, Cape Cod, MA just the other day. It was my first time going there. I sat at the bar area to eat, they have outside dining also apart from the tables inside. It was around 3pm and there were a few other diners, it was past the lunch rush. Anyway I was greeted by a gentleman at the door who held it open for me as I was using a walker. Once that I had sat down at the bar I was greeted by the bartender Maria whom was also the manager. Maria presented both their drink menu and food menu. She kindly offered me some help with food selections and suggestions, which I didn't need because I'm a chef. I ordered a Modelo beer since it would compliment my food order. I ordered the quesadilla with chicken, shrimp and carne asada. It was quite a large quesadilla cut into three slices accompanied by some finely chopped lettuce and chives with a nice dollop of sour cream. It was simply delicious with the flavor combination and the right amount of cheese. I could only eat 2 slices and I took the other slice home which I enjoyed eating that night..it was great even when cold. Maria was super friendly and nice. The menu was nicely extensive with plenty of choices including tacos, burritos etc...oh I almost forgot to mention the nachos and salsa that Maria brought to me at the beginning...yum..The restrooms were very clean and smelled great too. We loved it! Sat outside with our toddler. Staff was really friendly, attentive and accommodating. They have nice outdoor dining sets and Torino across the street had some great live music we got to enjoy. Nice to have some fresh we’ll done Jamaican flavors on Main St.

Food was great, loved the beef patties, I got the chicken sandwich which came with a killer pineapple chutney and the jerk mayo is delicious. My husband got the avocado and bacon wrap with chicken which he loved aside from the few unadvertised tomatoes haha. We got the kids Mac and cheese for our daughter and it was perfect!

A friend and I recently had lunch, the owner a lovely woman was very friendly, placing our napkins on our laps, however, we were disappointed with the crab cake appetizer, 12.00 ,two cakes the size of a silver dollar with barely any crab and the lobster club was on wheat bread with barely any lobster, mostly lettuce and tomato, for 19.99 I expected more lobster. They advertise Jamaican and Italian cuisine, I would definetly get a better bread choice for the lobster and make those crab cakes bigger, the flavor was good but gone in...
