My wife and I purchased a lot of chocolate and fudge from this location and other local businesses (1 lb. assorted homemade chocolates, 1/2 lb. penuche fudge, 1/4 lb. cranberry fudge from this place). There are no signs on the walls for homemade chocolate pricing, but they charge 20-25$/lb. depending on what you get. I'm comparing this place to similarly priced chocolate I can get in Boston for the same price and different fudges I've purchased locally this week. In short, for price this place does not come close.

For 20$+ the chocolate is very grainy and does not come remotely close to mass produced Belgian chocolate you can buy from Costco for much cheaper. The milk chocolate they use for all their products (same chocolate throughout) does not come close to the high end Boston homemade companies or the mass produced Belgian brands you can buy at places like Costco. You can taste the grainy confectioners sugar throughout and can tell they use the same batch of chocolate for all their products (I would normally be more forgiving in comparison but their pricing doesn't warrant). Their fudge is the worst of the 3 local places we've purchased from (one of which did not specialize in candies) and is very grainy. It is average at best. I would rate 3 stars but the fact they don't have any prices AT ALL on the walls and try to price gouge you on truffles to the point that a single small truffle turns out to be near 3$ takes away a star because it does not compete anywhere close to equivalently priced products ANYWHERE else we've been.

I wondered at the time if they might choose pricing based on if you appear to be a tourist. Overall, the quality is okay-good but considering the cost...

A Cape Cod family tradition reduced to insulting and shaming customers.

On a September 2023 trip a nostalgic trip and walk down memory lane turned sour. I bought some product there and it was stale. I returned moments later, receipt in hand, politely attempting a refund. The clerk apparently didn

t think the refund amount was "worth it" and I should just absorb the cost for the stale product. She refused to refund my credit card. I left slightly shocked as the customer. I re-thought it and returned (receipt in hand) moments later, for the refund, and was again refused till I asked ... Where is the "All sales final" sign posted? She reluctantly processed the return through my cc, all the time bullying and mimicking me about my need to recover such a small refund. She was "REFUND SHAMMING" me and until I left the store, SHE had to continually get in the last word, needle me and laugh at me in front of customers and other staff. That

s the last KANDY KORNER will ever see of me or my charge card after decades of spending there.

Also, beware of aggressive pan-handlers and drug addicts soliciting your family and loved one`s while entering/exiting The Kandy...

A uniquely Main Street Hyannis business, they sell a wide variety of candy. Their selection includes childhood favorites, pieces, bags and cartons. Salt water taffy, fresh cotton candy, and thousands of candy delights. The prices are a little steep giving penny candy a new meaning but what costs a penny anymore. The store is located right next to the Baptist Church. The corner of Main and High School Road. They accept credit cards, cash and chickens ( just kidding). They have plenty of park benches out front on which to relax. Give The Kandy Korner a try when you are in Hyannis.

Always one of my favorite Main St stops! The heavenly smell of fresh waffle cones greets you as you open the door, and the experience keeps getting sweeter. Nostalgia candies, gourmet chocolates, beautiful ice creams made in house, Cape specialities, and traditional standbys are all available for a moderate price, and there's something for every candy fan. Watching staff make the cones, twist taffy, and unmold chocolates is a fun addition to the sweets you know you be taking home. The gift shop in the back boasts some fun souvenirs and trinkets for the non-candy crowd.

I love this place and the candy they sell. While on vacation we stopped here to bring my children for a treat. This is the place to bring the kids for treats and more. Great customer service and friendly smiles is what you can expect when visiting. You will enjoy the staff making fresh Salt Water Taffy, Fudge, and more. I highly recommend this place for the treats they make and the friendly staff.
