My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at the new Auld Triangle Pub & Restaurant this evening. This was an awesome experience for us, from the warm greeting when we arrived to the fantastic music provided by Vibe this was truly an evening to remember. My wife ordered the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich and it was delicious, a great portion with chips and coleslaw. Her special order of no pickle chips and sauce on the side were not an issue. When the drinks came Dominik even brought her a glass of water, so thoughtful. As for the meals the chicken was an ample portion and the battered coating was very crispy, with melted cheddar cheese on top, the bun was soft and made this sandwich easy to eat. I ordered the Bangers with pub fries instead of the mash and these were hands-down the best Bangers I have ever had in my life!! I am from Ireland and I have never had sausages like these, they melted in my mouth and the spice of the meat was perfect. A great glass of red wine and a beautiful pint of Guinness rounded out this truly spectacular meal. I asked to speak to the Manager, PJ came to the table a bit apprehensive as to why she had been summoned but we assured her it was all good. I just wanted to let her and the rest of the staff know how much we enjoyed our meal, she was so delighted to hear that everything went well. I would certainly recommend this new addition to the Hyannis Main Street, be sure to visit soon, you...
Read moreSo my wife and I saw that they were having karaoke. We were on vacation. It was a Thursday night and we decided to go. And that’s when my love for this place all started. Every person in the place was so nice. The food was unbelievable!!! They definitely had some really good signature cocktails too. So on top on the staff being so incredibly friendly we met the owner Des. What a guy!!!!! We probably talked to him for like an hour at the end of the night. There was so much to look at on the walls of his great heritage of Ireland in which he happily told us about. We immediately fell in love with him and the Auld. So Friday was our last day there and out of all the places we could go we ended up back there. So glad we did. I felt drawn back by the friendly atmosphere and people there. And especially Des. Honestly if I lived here I’d be a regular there. We are already planning a trip back for St Patrick’s Day. Also a special shout out to Jamie the bartender. Great guy! It was also a pleasure talking to him as well. I highly recommend going and checking it out for yourself. It will not disappoint!!!! Your new friends for life, Tom and Lynne from RI Ps Say hi to his wife Terry. A total...
Read moreThis restaurant took over the space previously occupied by the British Pub. A number items on the menu, and the ambience, remain the same, but food has taken a hit. I enjoyed the British Pub's buffalo wings a year ago, so I ordered them again as an appetizer. Instead of about ten perfectly cooked crispy wings for $15 they now serve six soggy wings for $14. I requested ranch dressing in place of blue cheese which I am allergic to. Unfortunately, the kitchen sent out my order with blue cheese dressing. I avoided nausea or worse because my wife always tests ranch dressing for me to make sure it's not blue cheese. The ground-beef chili with cheddar cheese and tortilla chips for $10 was reasonably priced and tasted good. However, I received french fries which I did not order, and my wife did not enjoy her pizza. Another member of our group enjoyed the chowder with a fried fish sandwich. No one checked back with us to see if we needed...
