Extremely unsatisfied with the Tech service of Spectrum, in Barstow. I was sent a NEW Router, and Modem, and was advised it is much better than the previous... Happy to receive an upgrade, only for it to fail, and operate 10X than the previous set up. Spoke on the phone with a tech, and he advised me something was horrible wrong, and created an appointment for a Tech to come to my home. The tech came (the first time) and said everything was fine (LIE) Nothing worked as promised. I called and demanded the tech return, which he did the next. This time he replaced everything he told me to my face was good. Why if everything was good would he replace it? (LIE)
My internet has failed me more with the new, than it had ever. Of course by this I am pretty irate. I had to make many calls, talk to this person, and that person, a lead, and a supervisor. Each individual told me something different. Each made promises that had zero intention of following through. They left me to rot (so to speak) I was promised (absolutely) TODAY, to no avail. (Another LIE) Their excuse was they had other appointments ahead of me. HELL NO... My job HAS NOT been completed, and I should not be bumped because their poor technicians have no clue of proper repairs. This is all unacceptable, and regardless of whom had an appointment, my service work should be completed prior to beginning another job. Very, Very, Poor business practice. After reading reviews I see I am not the only one that has experienced this manner of operation. They choose to skip my difficult job, for an easy in, and out job, because they fail in knowledge. At the moment I am promised a call from a Supervisor, and I would bet (large) that they do NOTHING... I was told I can demand billing credit, but I am certain that is also a LIE.
Yes, I an bitter, and don't understand how someone can operate a business like this. It's truly sad. Incompetence irritates the heck out of me, and LIES are even worse. Beware of Spectrum... This will be a "Social Media...

So far there is 4 different updates now stating by 4pm internet will be restored. All they do is credit you for the day. That’s 12 hours of no internet. That should be more than a $2 credit.
