Used to be a good place to go. Has gone downhill. Consistently has lobby closed with a "due to being understaffed" sign, forcing people to go through the drive thru. Drive thru speaker is situated poorly, aimed at the highway (71) which results in either having to yell your order or have the person taking the order repeatedly tell you they can't hear you. Have taken things off the menu that other DQ's still have (chilli cheese dog, tater gems, etc). Soda machine consitently does not mix well.. (either no soda and all syrup or vice versa). Get orders wrong more often than right. A # 1 combo, as is.. per their menu, does not come with cheese. Why does mine always have cheese on it? Blizards are usually not mixed well (top half is flavor of the monfh, bottom is plain unmixed vanilla). Today tried to place an order at the drive thru..was told three times they couldn't hear me..and since I really didn't want to yell my order any louder which was already causing heads to turn, so I kept in line and just pulled forward to the window where the car in front of me just spoke to someone. Window never opened..now there are 4 cars behind me.. I moved to the second window where the lady was upset that i didnt place the order at the drive thru speaker.. finally calmed down enough after apparently asking her manager if it was ok to take my order there..and took my order 4 combos ( as they come), 3 small blizards and 1 dilly bar. 15 minutes later I was haded the drinks (all sprite) and was asked to pull ahead to the corner of the restaurant to wait. 20 minutes later someone came out a side door withe rest of our order. Looked through bags quickly... missing the Dilly bar ... took a sip of sprite.. no soda.. only luke warm sprite flavored water.. blizards were all three already melted an spilling over the top of the cups.. they definitely would not have turned these upside down like they are supposed to.. but I was tired 40 min total so far.. forget the sprites and the runny blizards.. I just want my missing (already paid for) Dilly bar. Couldnt back up.. 9 cars in line behind me.. drove around to the other side of the store and knocked on the main door. Two people saw and ignored me. Knocked again.. manger/team lead came over with one of the cooks and opened the door, informing me that regardless of the fact that they forgot something on my order, I needed to get back in line and wheny turn came up again they would be glad to help. I asked in a somewhat elevared tone if I was expected to go throygh the lune again while my food got cold and wait another 30 minutes so someone coyld hand me an icecream out of the freezer and I was told yes. I was beyond angry at that point...and I let her know... she finally told me they were out of them and only had non dairy ones. I said fine.. she brought me 2. I left... another 15 minutes had passed.. by the time I got home the burgers and fries were cold, the soda was flat, the blizards were completely melted. Read moreSAD WENT FROM 5 TO 2 IN ONE STOP I sadly have to downgrade my review the staff was less than friendly. Even though the mistakes that were made to our order were of no fault of ours when asking them to be corrected not 1 not 2 but 2 of the 4 people we dealt with had extremely poor attitudes. When I asked for extra napkins Susie banana split that was dripping out of the container when she handed it to me when lady got so mad after closing the window she rudely walked away from serving at the window and stormed outside to take her smoke break after looking around her shoulders what she got her cigarette lit she realized that we were still sitting right there in her car and she finally made her way around the building to get further away from us.. My husband was the one at the window handling things and being very light hearted and very polite about all the mistakes. I personally don't take being mistreated by people who are in the service industry that well I DEFINITELY would have showed my crazy face demanding someone who pretends to be a manager find a way to correct the b s ATTITUDES of his staff when they WERE NOT EVEN BUSY. It was my first negative Dairy Queen experience at this or any that come to mind and I've been going to this location for over 15 years. I dislike feeling like I am pestering bothering someone when they are expected to do their job at their place of EMPLOYMENT. I SAT THERE TRYING TO FAKE A SMILE I kept waiting for SOMEONE TO TRY TO FLIP THE MOOD or lead by example. My husband remained friendly and thankful when asking for napkins for his ice cream that wasn't correctly made and when she added the items she left off she did it to a full container and closed it back as it spilled out handed it to us in our $100k escalade. Then when we asked for the other part of our order that was missing he handled it very well even though they said we didn't order it but I have a voice recording where I was trying to ask Alexa something and they answered so I stopped talking and that picked up my husbands voice. He ordered everything correctly. They were just doing idk what. For the first time I thought that must be a miserable place to work in the past is always good friendly lighthearted and a great atmosphere no wonder they weren't busy. Im sad to see a place fall so far. I grew up in the fast food industry and know both sides of each of their positions in that store. Management needs to be shaken up and changes...
Read moreHorrible service, worse food, lack of responsibility. Ordered our dinner from dairy queen through door dash. I paid extra for my husband's jalitos in the 4 pc steak finger basket. I also had a chicken baskets 4 pc, another 4 pc steak basket, a kids burger meal and lastly a crispy chicken salad. It arrived 30 min late, when it did arrive the food was cold, none of the baskets had gravy or bread, the amount of salad in the bowl was less than a 1/4 full ( the size of 2 oreos (and I'm being generous here). I packed it up and took it back with my receipt to dairy queen. I explained the situation, showed my receipt, when the girl behind the counter was not interested in. She said "oh, i told the driver we didn't have bread or gravy and we didn't get jalitos in. She refused to refund the money for just the food that was missing and told me to take it up with door dash. When I asked who her manager was she stated she was. I again explain that I needed to speak with her manager (to find out why they didn't call to tell me they couldn't fill mu order) She repeated "I am." I said honey, I asked for your boss, you are clearly not the owner or you wouldn't be so careless about this. She said I can't give you their number. I explained to her that I never asked for their number just their name. She then refused to give me their name. I told her, that's fine I'll find...
