Crust — Restaurant in Bath (Berkeley Springs)

Everything is self serve. Not a fan. Half of the experience of “going out” is to have a break, not to have to get everything yourself. Felt more like a cafeteria than a bistro. No atmosphere. Food ok. Meat mozerella sub had no flavor. Pizza was small for a “medium” and had too much salt. Fries, fried pickle and chips were good. Would have preferred normal glass of water but didn't see that option only sparkling canned water. Restaurant was clean. Bill for three people was over $70 which included chicken tenders/popper , “med pizza” meat sandwich, $7.50 for 3 waters and a $10 tip. Asked why we had to tip if we got everything ourselves and we were told that we didn’t have to tip but didn’t see a “no tip” option on tablet. No offer was made to refund our tip. edited First time at crust, I was not expecting for $17 my steak and cheese to be on a hotdog roll.. and although a reasonable portion of meat was on it, it's not "thinly shaved" it was chewy, not seasoned at all, and had an odd flavor like it was old... I don't like giving one star reviews but I wanted to try the new restaurant in town and I'm so disappointed.. this was my birthday dinner.. We called and asked for a refund, spoke to the manager who couldn't give a refund but offered to replace the dinner. A hospital has better service and better food. The inside is so sad looking all the walls are blank. This is not a dine in restaurant. You cannot order in person. You have to use a tablet. After you pay, then you can sit down if you’re dining in. Food is TINY AND EXPENSIVE You get to eat off paper plates and use no real utensils. Once you have finished your meal you clean up and leave. I did not see an option for no tip but the guy claimed there was one. The place has all blank walls nothing to look at, I’m not joking NOTHING it’s all neutral walls.
