Been going here for years while vacationing in the area. The food has always been great. Unfortunately our most recent experience will have us questioning our choice next time. They were not busy yet the service was slow and our waitress seemed not all there. First, she forgot the kids drinks and we had to keep asking. There were 7 at our table and when the food came out 2 of us were not served anything, which our waitress didn't catch. When we asked about it, she went to check and said they lost 1 order and never entered the other. Somehow they found the lost order and made the other. When the missed order came out it was missing one of the toppings. The waitress offered to make another but by this time we had waited so long and most of everyone had finished that my mother just ate the sandwich. During the whole time none of this seemed to be a big deal to our waitress. We are not people that expect things for free but when restaurants provide poor service, miss orders and do not make meals according to the menu, they usually take pride in offering something to compensate as a measure of customer service. We were a bit taken back when we barely got a sorry. When given the bill we asked if there was anything she could do for the sandwich that was first missed and then made wrong. After talking with the manager the waitress came back with a $1 discount! Very insulting and insufficient. After talking directly to the manager she said she would give half off since the sandwich was consumed. Considering that we spent close to $200 as a group and under the circumstances it would have been a token of sincere apology and appreciation if this singular sandwich would have been compensated as most quality restaurants would do. Unfortunately a missed opportunity and we left with a...
Read moreUpon walking in we were asked if we wanted a table or booth...we said booth...we were given a high top table in the bar. That should have been my first indication to leave. The second indication should have been when the server had to come back and ask what our drink orders were when it was just a tonic water and lemonade. The third indicator came when she then brought me a club soda and when I said it wasn't right she didn't seem to understand so I explained that club soda is way different than tonic water and obviously they didn't have it do I'd take a lemonade instead. She comes back, after talking to the bar, with a tonic water. We then watch the food for tables that got seated after us come out and still nothing. Our server ignores us this whole time of course. Then they finally bring our food and the table number was on it wrong. It was table 11 and we were at 12 or the other way around I don't remember exactly which way I heard it cuz I was pissed as soon a I realized it was ours but not the food we ordered. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with veggies and my husband ordered the burnt ends. What came out was most definitely not burnt ends (I have no clue what it was) and a burger with no bacon but lots of onions and a salad not veggies. So as we walked out on her we told her she needed to go back to school and that we now get to go to our event hungry cuz she can't even figure out what a damn tonic water is 🤬! We were there at 5pm 3/16/24 and will NEVER be back. I've been a server for 26 years and was extremely disappointed especially since we went to little Caesars after our event and the kid working there was working the window and the till by himself and was super courteous and got us EXACTLY what we wanted on the FIRST try. Maybe you guys should have little Caesars train your...
Read moreI've been to other Grizzlys locations and always had a fantastic experience. This location was certainly not like the others. Long story short, the place was busy and that's completely fine....except when it affects the quality of the food and service. My waitress was a mess, managing too many tables and each time I tried to order or flag her down, she had other tables to come first, then more tables, then someone else's table. By the time I got my food, the lodge ribeye, i cut into it and found it to be blue...which is rarer then rare. I ordered medium rare and the waitress was quick to defend it and say, no that's medium rare. As I continued to try to est it, I cut through the middle instead to see the rest of the steak. Blue again and cold to the touch. I grabbed her again and told her I needed it cooked. She asked if I wanted it medium rare ... I responded that is what I ordered so yes I wanted medium rare. She realized she was wrong in the beginning and said, oh well more well done right? I said medium rare will do and I will take it to go.
When I got home I opened it to find it well done and tough as a rock. Ate two more bites and threw it away. I called in tonight and advised a manager. They offered a 10 dollar certificate which I declined as I do not live local.
In conclusion, this location lacks in many ways and does not live up to the standard the chain strives for. Cooking a steak is...
