G's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Bay City

Not best experience when I dine in!!!!!! Ok so it's been a long time before I ate at G's and I love the mozzarella spares and I Gave 4 stars on food because there's food I like here and food I'm not to big on but that's Any where . But what really has me to point I won't come back at certain times is the way I got to go on a Bi-polar mood roller coaster ride FROM the waitress, don't get me wrong I think maybe they could of had rough day were human it happens, but I just didn't know how to take them at times, they were rude sounding then nice and back in forth, AND the waitress grab the person I was with plate DIDN'T ask if he was finished and just walk away with it , he said he only had a little bit on plate, but he was upset they took the plate and he couldn't finish, I told him next time he needs to speak up, just say you're not finished, BUT point is A waitress should always ask the customer if they are done , or make sure they hear you ask if they are done. Look I'm not here to bash on anyone, but I won't come dine in again if I feel uncomfortable from the service, I'll just order to go, but I also am sad they got rid of my favorite dish chicken Parm, I wasn't big on the build pasta that I put together, but whatever you try things and learn what you like in don't like . The expectations were really high when we saw the 4.2 review this place has , but it was cut short when we visited a Sunday afternoon for a quick bite. We ordered some soup and a Pizza. The soup was the days special soup that was really not the best pick, but I blame it on my selection i guess i should have chosen some other soup, but i was disappointed that the cutlery served along was dirty and smelt of oil and the bread that came along smelt of egg. So its possible the bread was reheated on a pan that made eggs or something, but the smell of egg put me off and i couldnt finish the soup The bread was dripping in oil..The pizza was served but there were no plates, the person who waited us said she would bring it but forgot and we waited for atleast 15 mins while our pizza turned cold..chili flakes were missing on the table and as soon as we asked the waitress handed it from the other table, the chilli flakes shaker was covered in grime and we had to wipe out our hands after using it. So overall the cleanliness really put me off. They were more busy in seating new people than serving he existing customers. This 4.2 review from google certainly had a grain of salt, the raving around the Pizza is questionable, The Pizza was just Ok,...

I love this place, when I was in high school and college it would be the place to go after classes. When I come back to visit my parents, I always make it a point to visit G’s. But the last few years have been rough. 2023- our server (who was young and new) messed up our order, totally fine, we ate what he put in. I gave G’s the benefit of the doubt. 2024- we were there for about 2.5 hours to get our food, eat and leave. I also understood as it could’ve been busy for online orders and whatnot. 2025- today, I ordered online, it was an order of 4 pizzas. They didn’t confirm it online and the website told me to call, so I called, they said “yup we see it! It’ll be about 20-25 minutes.” Great so I get there 20 minutes after that conversation. The host was very nice and all the servers were nice, but I waited an extra hour for my food on top of the 20 minutes I waited before I went in. Also, I discovered two of pizzas were wrong when I got back home.

So I don’t know, truly love G’s and its food. But there’s just not enough...
