We’ve been visiting our daughter who’s currently working at Disney as part of the Cultural Exchange Program, and during our stay we’ve found ourselves frequenting the Flamingo Crossing precinct often. After hearing so many great things about Hash House A Go Go, we decided to give it a try for breakfast — and were not disappointed!
On arrival, we were greeted by a rustic tractor parked right inside the venue, setting the tone for the quirky, farm-inspired theme that Hash House is famous for. The venue itself is huge and well laid out, ensuring customers don’t feel crammed even during the busy breakfast rush. There’s a lively yet relaxed vibe that makes it equally great for families, groups, or couples.
We spent the first 20 minutes of our visit simply watching (and giggling) as plates made their way to nearby tables — each one bigger than the last! The portion sizes are truly something to behold and set the tone for a fun, light-hearted meal ahead.
When it came time to order, we feasted on a mix of their signature pancake and French toast dishes, served in the iconic Hash House style — towering, golden, and packed with flavour. The food was beautifully presented, farm-fresh, and indulgent in the best possible way.
In true Australian style, our eyes were definitely bigger than our bellies — and we ended up requesting to-go boxes to take the remaining food home for later. With portions this generous, one plate could easily feed two (or three!). Luckily, we were staying at the Homewood Suites just a stone’s throw away, making it easy to roll our bloated bellies back to the room after finishing up!
A special mention goes to Geoff, who served us throughout our visit. His friendly, attentive manner and genuine enthusiasm made the whole experience even more enjoyable. He offered great menu suggestions and made us feel right at home despite the morning rush.
Service was quick and efficient, and the upbeat atmosphere added to the overall charm. With generous portions, fair pricing, farm-fresh ingredients, and a spacious, character-filled setting, Hash House A Go Go is a must-visit for anyone staying in or around Flamingo Crossing.
Improvement: The venue currently closes at 3 p.m., which is a shame — we’d love to see it open again for dinner, as the hearty serving sizes feel perfectly suited to an evening meal.
Hash House A Go Go absolutely lives up to its reputation. Between the farm-fresh flavours, generous portions, warm hospitality, and fun atmosphere, it delivers a dining experience that’s memorable from start to finish. Whether you’re a local, a Disney cast member, or a visiting family, this is one venue that deserves a place at the top of your breakfast or brunch list.

I was greeted and helped right away to place my to-go order. Once I placed my order, the two gentlemen who worked there were super nice. One had told me the history of Hash House a Go Go and how it originally started in San Diego, CA, and how the original owners are still running the place there. A company had bought them and I believe the main headquarters is located in Las Vegas. He was telling me that this restaurant just turned 1 year old. The place itself is pretty cool.
The other gentleman was the general manager in Connecticut. (Sorry, I didn't, catch their names) He was telling me how he originally started in Reno, NV with the company and how they had closed down during the pandemic. The location he had worked at was at Harrah's hotel. I thought that it was so cool to learn since I grew up going to Reno with my family. Sadly enough, Harrah's was one of the hotels that closed down on Reno's downtown strip.
Ok enough about the history of this restaurant, this is what we ordered:
Corn beef, red onions, and swiss cheese hash. This is not the typical corn beef hash that I'm used to. This was better. It had real strips of corned beef topped with swiss cheese and red onions. It was underneath a bed of crunchy house potatoes. The biscuit it came with didn't look big, but it was so fluffy and buttery. They make it in-house.
Breakfast sandwich - This thing was ginormous, and it wasn't cut in half. My husband had to attack this in 2 rounds to finish. All he could tell me was that this was good. Perfect portion of sausage patties, bacon, over hard egg, on a thick cut of milk bread toast.
Bacon, bacon, bacon - If you love bacon like I do. You'll love this. It's caramelized with brown sugar and seasoned to perfection. First bite, you get the sticky sweetness with a peppery kick.
Churro waffle - This thing was huge, so huge they gave it to me in a pizza box . It's not a standard waffle. It was fluffy and crunchy. It didn't taste like a churro, but it was pretty close to it. This is definitely made to share.
Biscuit bites - If you love beignets, you'll love this. The biscuits are made in-house. They were so crunchy and perfectly sweet. I didn't even use the jam it came with.
The guy was definitely right when he told me we wouldn't be eating again until 3 pm. Their portions are huge, and you can tell it was made with love. It was the perfect comfort food to start our day, or have you taking a nap.
I highly recommend this place and can't wait to be back. People who work here were nice and made sure my order...
Read moreStopped in for brunch before hitting the road after a fun filled weekend in Orlando! The building is beautiful with plenty of parking, however, they are quite busy so we opted to eat at the bar to avoid waiting 30 mins for a table. Hash House is very clean, nicely decorated and the staff I encountered was pleasant with the exception of the duty manager on Monday, 2/17/25 (I’ll explain a little later).
Our food was absolutely delicious and portion sizes are huge so bring your appetite! The food came out pretty quick so no complaints there! Our server, whose name escapes me was wonderful! She was kind and attentive!
Here’s where our dining experience went left and the reason I deducted 2 stars…. When I tried to pay my party of 4 $99 bill, the handheld card machine apparently was on another table’s bill but I didn’t notice until after I paid and received the electronic receipt to my phone. I immediately advised our server who stated she would have to get the manager. The manager apparently reversed the charge and sent the server back out to advise. He did not deem me worthy enough to come greet me and apologize for the inconvenience! When I requested a receipt for the payment reversal she once again engaged the manager. This time he came out and had this irritable look on his face. I explained to him what I needed and without offering any apologies he walked off and returned with a printed receipt for the voided charge. I asked if he would compensate me for my inconvenience and he had the audacity to ask “What inconvenience?” I was so appalled by his attitude and behavior but I decided to entertain his surly comment and explained again the circumstances leading to his engagement. He looked at me as if my request was absurd and flat out told me no. I decided not to entertain his lack of professionalism any longer. I paid the correct bill and left! He couldn’t even express gratitude for my honesty as the bill I paid was about $15 cheaper than mine! Needless to say he needs some additional training on customer facing situations and professional etiquette! I hate I didn’t...
