Five Guys — Restaurant in Bay Lake

Called an order ahead and let them know I would be getting there right at 11. I made sure it was ok that I was ordering so late, they assured me it was fine. I asked if I needed to pay ahead of time, and was told no. I show up and the doors are locked. Every employee saw me and ignored me until I kept repeatedly knocking. They finally came out the door and told me they were closed and had chose not make my order because it wasn’t paid for ahead of time, which I tried to do, and because I got there after 11, which I was told was ok. If they had let me know they couldn’t have made my order, all they had to do was tell me when I called in. I never leave reviews but I just felt like I needed to give praise where praise was due. Passing through for work and really just wanted more than some random fast food place and didn’t have time to actually go to a sit down. I was able to stop at this location which had a parking lot big enough to accommodate my truck and 20ft enclosed trailer. The staff was amazing and on point. My food was hot, fresh, and made to perfection. I was in and out in a timely manner. As someone who is constantly on the go traveling for work state to state away from my family and friends I can honestly say this was one of the best experiences and I appreciate the friendly faces and welcoming feeling I received. Five Guys at Flamingo Crossings is a solid choice when you’re looking for a burger. The location wasn’t busy when we went for dinner; there was another party eating and they were staffed well and we received our food quickly. The restaurant was clean and they have a freestyle machines which allows a greater variety of beverages. We took our order to go and I got a burger served salad style over a bed of lettuce and appreciated being able to order without a bun. It was greasy but that’s typical of their burgers.
