This is a newer location and it was our first visit here. We were up by Disney dropping someone off, and placed our order on the app to pick up on the way home so we would have lunch. Placing the order was very easy and we were able to customize easily as well. I set the time for about 11:00 which is when it showed they opened. I didn't actually show up till about 8 minutes after and when I walked inside I found my order easily in the to-go order section they have. Our order was in the bag with my name on it and everything looked correct and I had it back out. They did seem to have a steady stream of people coming in but there was only one couple placing an order when we arrived. I realized they are a new location but this was the first time that I have entered a firehouse subs and not been greeted by anyone. Due to the setup of this one only the person working the register was visible to me when I entered and left the store. There were obviously people further back preparing the orders but none of them were within view. We at home and our order was prepared correctly and tasted delicious so we were completely satisfied. Read moreWent there today and ordered my food as usual. I asked for pickle and she's like oh it comes with pickle. I wanted chopped pickle on my sandwich. ANDREA is so lazy to ask if you want chopped or spears. Not the Spears on the side. But of course you can never ask that can you Andrea? And then when they called my name they called me Jake not by my first name. just not a good time at all. I even called and asked her if they did not have chopped pickles anymore? She said yes but you have to request them. I think as a customer you shouldn't have to request anything you should be asked if you would like the spears or if you would like them chopped. No other Firehouse subs has ever given me so much headache like this one has. And I'll be glad not to come back andrea. You and your crew are very rude. Read moreAs one of Firehouse Subs' biggest customers over the years, my recent experiences at the Flamingo Crossing location was disappointing. My BBQ Cuban contained what appeared to be large blood vessels and an unidentified tubular structure.
The response from both corporate support and the store owner lacked empathy regarding this issue. Despite seeing a photo, the owner insisted it was simply fat and safe to eat, refusing to acknowledge how unappetizing it was. (I've chosen to withhold the photo due to its graphic nature).
Additionally, I encountered an employee smoking extensively in the outdoor seating area, which was unpleasant. On a separate visit, I also had to wait a full minute at the order counter before the cashier acknowledged my presence, seemingly focused on their phone.
