I really liked the food. Unlike other Disney park dining if you have allergies they don't send a chef out to take and prepare your order. I was told I needed to place 2 separate orders because 3 of us are GF/DF and 2 of us are just GF. The waiter did make recommendations on what he thought was safe to eat based off of our reported allergens and did advise against food in shared fryers (I appreciated that honesty). I loved my tacos. I order chicken tacos with rice and beans. I ordered my girls rice and beans. The beans had a smoky flavor to them. The rice was a bit dry but very flavorful. The salsa Verde was delicious and was great on the chicken tacos. I also order an arroz con pollo bowl. I didn't love the pickled onions in it. The flavor was great the pickled onions just weren't for me. My son and husband ordered barbacoa tacos. They waited an extremely long time for their food. I was order 158 and my husband's food was 159. There was over 20min waiting between his food and ours. Our food took a long time to come out which we expect with food allergies. But my husband's sat on the counter made for over 5 minutes and they just wouldn't give him the tray. They kept grabbing other trays but wouldn't pass his. The kitchen staff kept pushing it forward and the servers just kept grabbing other ones over his. They were passing tray 209 when his order was 159 just to put in perspective as to how long he waited. Again the food tasted great. None of us got sick. But the service wasn't great and everyone was ignoring him. I eventually got someone's attention and asked about the tray and they finally...

A good place for a meal in EPCOT. La Cantina de San Angel is a great quick-service restaurant in EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion, right on the edge of the World Showcase Lagoon. While EPCOT opened back in 1982, La Cantina opened it’s doors in 2010, giving guests a more relaxed, outdoor dining option with some seriously great views. The seating by the water is a real highlight—perfect for taking a break or people-watching. We decided to try them out on our recent visit to the park. I am glad that we did. The food was solid across the board, with tasty tacos, loaded nachos, and churros that hit the spot every time. I had the tacos and a jarrito. You order in front of the counter and pick up your food at the counter when it’s ready. We took advantage of the waterside pavilion and tables and sat right along the water. It was pleasant under the shade along the water. There is NO inside seating, it is all outside. The food was ready quickly and it was very good, The staff was pleasant and the area was clean. The prices were reasonable for being in the park. OVerall, it was casual, convenient, and one of the better places in the park to sit back with good food and enjoy the atmosphere without needing a...

Went about 2 months ago & had a horrible experience with the cashier named Maria, who was beyond rude. Decided to give it another try today & Jazmin was even more rude. They don’t take allergies seriously and want you to pay an additional $5 to substitute beef for chicken. What a joke. Disney needs to do better!! Will never come back here again. Thank you for making me feel like an allergy is an inconvenience. Jazmin said the only solution was to pay more money to get something i can actually eat & will enjoy. According to Jazmin “they lose too much money by serving chicken instead of beef”… which is hilarious considering chicken is cheaper than beef? Ok. Gustavo, the manager, said “Disney doesn’t allow them to make modifications because they have to control everything”. Once again, do better. I didn’t choose to have an allergy… I would rate it less...

La Catina de San Angel is a quick service restaurant located in Mexico on Epcot’s World showcase. The menu offers tacos, empanadas, nachos, rice bowls and more. You can also get margaritas and churros. On this trip we tried the nachos and empanadas. Both had very good portion sizes, but the nachos were larger. The empanadas were filled with white cheese and were slightly soggy instead of crispy, but overall for quick service meals, both were pretty good. The empanadas also came with a side of black beans and rice. The nachos came with cheese, seasoned ground beef, pickled jalapeños, sour cream and tomatoes. As a bonus, the seating area has a great view of world showcase lagoon. This is a great option for a quick bite if you are roaming around the world showcase.

I always have a great experience here. The Mexicans who work here are always really cool and kind. It's super fun to get a cultural experience right here in EPCOT! The food is good, nothing AMAZING, but I like the bowls, the guacamole is great and the plantains are good too. Plantains aren't crispy, but they are sweet and delicious. They have a few salsas that are good and your traditional/American sauces as well. The seating is a highlight for a few reasons- outside looks out over the water, they have seating/tables designed for wheelchair access, and if you go before the restaurant next door opens you can sit inside the restaurant in the ac and there's usually plenty of seating. Great experience!
