I thought that I had the best lasagna in Biloxi at another restaurant, but, Anthony's topped that one. Never had I had an Italian dish with lemon zest cream. Wow! My husband got the meatball dish and he loved his too. We got the canoli for desert. They are 100% made there, my canoli shell was a little over done. It was good, but not the best I've had. Will that make us not return? No, I will want lasagna again. And there are other desserts to try. They don't give you straws for your drinks. My husband asked for one for his iced tea (which came in and small glass) and they brought him a cocktail straw. My suggestion if Anthony's reads this, get larger glasses (the servers really didnt pay too much attention to refilling frequently due to the small of the glasses) and offer regular straws. The other Italian restaurant gives you bread and dipping oil with spices that is very delicious. This restaurant has it as an option to purchase. We will be back. They were only open a couple weeks when we tried it. Oh, make a reservation. We almost walked away after driving 45 minutes to get there. My husband had tried to make the online reservation and it wouldn't work. We called and they said they do take walk-ins, but that gets you a seat at the bar. They did get a table upstairs (no elevator, I watched a very old person have to walk down steps) because we did not want to sit at the bar area. The cost of each dish was pricey. But, it was worth it. So, it will be a once in...
Read moreMy friend and I were excited to make reservations at this new Italian restaurant in the heart of Bay St. Louis, and they did not disappoint.
We were greeted very pleasantly as soon as we entered the restaurant, which felt as though we walked directly into Italy. The staff was very friendly and engaging.
We shared the Lobster Arancini as an appetizer, which was delicious. For our entrees, my friend ordered the tortellini, and I had lasagna- both of which were mouth-watering. They each had the best blend of spices and flavors and were portioned perfectly. Our desserts were absolutely devine.
And I cannot say enough about our server, Tyler. He greeted us promptly, answered any and all of our questions, and made the best recommendations. He was very friendly, patient, and pleasant. We had some questions regarding the menu, which he answered without hesitation and never seemed to feel rushed at any point. Each course was delivered exactly as it should have been. We felt as though we were the only table he had (although we saw him wait on others). Just an amazing dining experience!!!
I just can't say enough about this restaurant, the food, and the amazing service given by Tyler. We are so excited to have you in BSL, and we will definitely...
Read moreWe had the pleasure of dining at Anthony’s, BSL’s newest restaurant, for a lovely late lunch (linner). The atmosphere was entertaining, and the ladies enjoyed Ranch Water with Agave cocktails, while the gentlemen opted for Smoked Old Fashioned. We shared the delicious meatballs and filet carpaccio, which melted in our mouths. The seasame loaf, served with freshly baked bread, oil, and butter, was a delightful choice. My halibut Pescae, featuring crushed pistachio atop lobster risotto, was a generous and flavorful portion. Our group also savored osso bucco, meatballs, freshly made rigatoni, lamb chops, an Italian salad, tiramisu, and cappuccino. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, with our server Kimberly demonstrating impressive knowledge of the cocktails and cuisine. We will definitely return! Our thanks to Jolynne Trapani for checking in on us. The building’s design is truly impressive, featuring stunning Murano glass light fixtures and wallpaper resembling paintings. The view was wonderful, making for a truly exceptional experience! We’ll be back! The building’s exterior and interior are fabulous!...
