I have been to Barracuda Taco in Bay St. Louis several times over the past year. We always enjoy it. This time left us a little disappointed. Granted it was Sunday night of Labor Day weekend, but there is no excuse for poor attitude. We arrived late, just before 8pm. The two ladies in front of us who had just placed their order turned around and said good luck. I don't remember the order takers name (young African American women) but she came across as unhappy in her job. She started by immediately announcing the items she didn't have. No smile, no welcome, just "we don't have cheese, shrimp, etc. No worries for us we could find something we liked. We had six people so we ordered several crispy fish, broccoli, and sweet potato tacos. When the food arrived she missed one taco. The food runner did a great job of getting the missing taco to us quickly. The crispy fish was great, but the broccoli and sweet potato tacos were not the usual quality or quantity. They were not very full and seemed quite small. I am going to chalk it up to Labor Day Weekend. We normally love Barracuda's so we...

Has a very laid-back and relaxed atmosphere with all outdoor seating. Most tables were under roof. You place your order at the window, take a number and sit down and they bring it to you. The Menu consists of a variety of tacos and bowls. We both had chicken dishes. I had the chicken tacos and my wife had the chicken bowl with rice and beans. The chicken tacos were simple, but absolutely delicious; perfectly spiced, grilled chicken on a delicious homemade corn tortilla with onion, cilantro, and lime juice topped off with a very good Verde sauce. The chicken bowl was the same grilled chicken with rice and beans all very delicious. Nothing was overly spicy. We also had the regular margaritas on the rocks with salt as well as the chips that were served with a variety of dips; salsa, queso, and guacamole. Service was friendly and efficient.
Second visit update- still great and this time we had the Steak Tacos and the steak bowl. Folks you’re not gonna go wrong with either the chicken or the steak...
Read moreNice looking place with a good shaded outside seating area. No indoor seating which can be rough in 100 degree mississippi heat, even with fans. Also brings the flies which they try to mitigate with some battery powered fly deterrent machines. Unfortunately, all of the batteries were dead in every machine, had my kids try all of them as a game.
Ordered 80 bucks worth of food for my family. Mostly a variety of tacos. I ordered 2 beef, 2 chicken, and 2 fish tacos all deluxe. Tacos came out about 15 minutes later without being deluxe. Beef tacos were extremely dry with very little meat in them. Chicken tacos were decent but weren't very hot. Fish tacos were fried way too much and didn't taste very good. All of them had way more toppings than meat. One of my daughters ordered the quesadilla which was tiny and laid on a pile of chips. The two orders of queso we ordered came in a very small cup with more chips than you can use. Definitely overpriced for...
