Bayou City Wings — Restaurant in Baytown

The food was great! That is the only positive thing I have to say about this place. Our waitress finally took our drink/starter order 10 minutes after we arrived. Then the triple play appetizer we order was wrong. When we tried to tell them the error it took awhile for anyone to even return to the table, to have it fixed. Then while we were waiting for the food correction we ate the wrong appetizer bc the lady left it at the table. Then about 10 minutes the manager showed up and said that because we ate the appetizer she couldn't bring the correction. Then we waited another 10-15 minutes for our main meal. Then 3 people in our party ran out of our drinks. We had to tell her we were out of drinks when she asked if everything was okay. Then she brought the wrong drinks after we reminded her what they were. Then when we were ready to go, we waited another 10-15 minutes for our checks. The waitress had an attitude the rest of the time she was our server. The restaurant was very busy and loud and crowded. Then when we tried to pay for our ticket, we asked for the veteran discount and even showed our identification for proof. The waitress left another 5 minutes, comes back and says " my manager says I can only give a discount to first responders and veterans."😒 THEN, she was gone another 10 minutes before I finally got fed up and went looking for her with my CC. The service was bismal and we will NOT be back.

On a side note, the same manager that talked to us at the table was also cussing at the bar by the entrance, loud enough that we were able to hear it clearly. She said the F word no less than 3x. And 2 parties left their tables before they even got their orders bc it took so long...

This restaurant is horrible and disgrace I will not be going back here again. It took them 20 minutes for me to be seated.After that the waiter had bad customer service and was always in a hurry. The only thing the waitress did was right that she knew the triple appetizer on the menu for $9.99. She was always rushing I had to stop her to ask for my drink but she had time for the gentleman’s that she was laughing and flirting with. I wasn’t at my table for 10 minutes. I got up to go get her and tell her to cancel my food but she seen me and ran back in the kitchen. I had to go ask the bartender where my waitress went. The crazy thing about it I didn’t even get the waitress name. This other waitress came up to me and ask me where I was seated and he gave me the other waitress name. After that he came and got her from me and I told the waitress I wanted to cancel the food but I order the appetizer and my friend was eating it already. I gave her my card and she gave herself a 5 dollar tip. The total was $10.81 not $15.81. I was really upset because she stoled from me and she was a bad waiter. I called the manger the next day and he said it’s not there first time doing that and he told me that the waiter accidentally gave herself 5 dollar tip. I didn’t even get the customer receipt. I got two other receipts. I will say there names but I gave it to God. I was just upset about how the waiter gave herself a tip without my consent because that’s is stealing money that I work for just like that waiter do. This particular restaurant is NOT a favorite. When I first arrived, around 11:19 AM today, there were a few employees on duty, but I didn't feel welcome. They weren't really rude, yet not really welcoming either. I was smiling and even told them that it was my very first time in a Bayou City Wings. I just got an uncaring look. Really a way to start. The young lady that was the cashier was patient with me because I didn't have my glasses 🙃. So to the food.. I ordered a family pack. I was visiting family who I hadn't seen in a while. They had never tried Bayou City Wings. The chicken was not fresh or didn't taste freshly cooked. Wings were chewy and old tasting. We asked for the BBQ Wings and some plain and supposedly garlic. My family wasn't thrilled and said, "We will probably stick with Wing Stop." I sure hate that because I was excited to try Bayou City Wings. I was far from home. I don't feel like my patronage was appreciated. I also supported the restaurant next door to Bayou City Wings, which is also a chicken restaurant. The young lady there was so sweet, welcoming and made me feel my business was appreciated. My food was pretty good. I bought dinner from there. Restaurants ask for us to support them and we do and get this treatment and bad food! 👎 I would love feedback from management. My family and I had plenty of food left.
