🌸 Setting the Record Straight on a new google review — The Truth Matters 🌸 Hey sweet family 💕 My google account has been hacked, Normally I don’t respond to negativity, but when false information is posted publicly, it’s only fair that I share the truth — with proof. My team and I arrived early, set everything up on time, and completed every part of this wedding exactly as promised. What happened that day had nothing to do with us and everything to do with factors outside of our control. Here are the real facts: 💍 The bridal shower was hours late, and the pastor even said he would leave if they didn’t start soon. 🍽️ Their own food arrived 2½ hours late — not mine. 🚬 The bride and her party spent most of the time outside smoking and drinking, which delayed communication. 🪑 The ceremony turnout was small, not the 150 guests she claimed. 🥶 The venue’s refrigerator was filthy and broken, unsafe for food or cake (photos attached). As much as I didn't want to expose this. As you see her bridal shower was larger than her guest. (not my fault) 🤷🏼‍♀️ Reception had more guest and took all the food and to go containers that SHE provided for them 🗑️ After the event, the venue was left trashed — gift bags, cigarette butts, and trash all over the floor and windowsills. (We didn’t leave until after 12:30 am)

Despite all that, my team remained calm, respectful, and professional. Everything we promised — décor, setup, service, and cake — was delivered beautifully and on time. And let’s clear this up once and for all: 💰 She did not pay $100,000 or anything even close to that. I’ve always stood on honesty, hard work, and love — and that won’t change. My name, my brand, and my team mean too much to me to let lies go unchecked. I trusted this women to do my whole wedding The only thing she did right was the decorations I paid $7500 for a seventh tier cake she never made it she lied and said Mode spilt on the cake she’s supposed to have made my roast beef, carrots, and potatoes and fried chicken and dinner rolls paid her extra for all that never got it. She took advantage of me when I was at my weakest point when the Marriott paid Marriott $5500. I decided not to go with the Marriott and went with shonnie and another hall The hall was wonderful big space and everything I felt vulnerable to shonnie in actually grew attached to her. I just can’t believe she did me that way and I’m still hurting. I believe I gave this woman $100,000 or close to that to do my whole wedding. I believe it was just too much on her and she didn’t get anything done, but the decorations and the serving of my food I even ask her was it too much for her to handle and she said no she told me she had her group of people to help her with everything which was her minor kids and one grown son. I’m just very disappointed. Didn’t get anything that I paid for she thought she could handle everything and it was just too much for her now after a couple weeks of my wedding and she took all my money now her shop in Richmond is closed now I wonder why it’s just sad...

I had a very disappointing experience with this baker. From the start, communication was confusing and unprofessional. They played games with the order details and couldn’t keep track of the correct date, even though everything was clearly discussed.

Not only did they fail to make the cake I actually ordered, but they also didn’t provide enough for the number of guests I requested—even after confirming the amount. To make matters worse, I only received a partial refund, despite the service not being what I paid for or agreed to.

This was supposed to be for a special occasion, and instead it added stress and frustration. I would not recommend this baker to anyone looking for reliable or...
