Love the revamp of Black Sheep! It's such a cute spot with plenty of parking behind the building on Boundary Street. It's the perfect place to grab a quality lunch to enjoy in the cute restaurant or take away to the beach, work or a relaxing afternoon at home. Now, about the food. I got more than we needed but couldn't resist the offerings. The Cantaloupe and Crab soup was cold, creamy and delicious. It had a perfect amount of summertime sweetness from the crab and the melon. This one was hard to share with my husband but I did it. I could eat it everyday all summer. Hubs had the Mortadella sandwich and I had the Italian Cold Cuts. Both were amazing. The bread was crispy outside and tender inside. The meats are very fresh and high quality. And the vinaigrette... well let's just say I could put that on everything. We also tried the Butterbean "pasta" salad with vinaigrette, salami, pepperoni, mozzarella, and cucumber. Holy smokes it was delicious. A nice change from standard pasta, especially in the south in the summer. It weirdly(in a good way) reminded me of childhood summers on my grandparents farm. Of course there is wine and I had a very tasty, "lunchtime perfect" glass of Souleil Piquepoul while I waited for my to go order. It was yummy. I probably would have gotten a bottle but had already picked out 2 others. The wine selection is really well curated and prices are very fair. The owners are so kind and are genuinely interested in their customers. Easy to talk to, obviously care about your experience and are extremely knowledgeable. The menu changes regularly and I love that! In this small town it's so great to have a place that is always progressing and innovating.

A big city meal in a great southern town! Tough to get in here but worth the wait! This is far more than a restaurant, its the food fusion and vision Chef Matt presents to you in his 6 option, 3 course dinner he serves Wed thru Sat. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the combinations and presentations of food he alone prepares. Everything was just delicious! As suggested my wife and I had different courses on each of the three options. I loved the combination of flavors that were Matts vision of what he wants to serve. This is food tasting at its best! Two desert option topped the night and their wine parings for each course and their wine selection were as great as the food! The floor of 18 seats was well managed by Krista. Servings were presented by Matt and Krista and each ingredient was explained by both of them. Dinner here is a lesson in food and flavors!! Some advice…It’s hard to get in here but worth the effort. Be on your computer (not phone) at exactly 8am on the 1st Tuesday of the month to book the next month. Have CC, email, phone number and go for it! Be on time as my experience is most tables are taken by 8:10 am. At 77 I’m proud of myself as the room was full of young foodies!! Enjoy!

Ah, Blacksheep—the elusive gem that keeps you on your toes. It's not just a restaurant; it's an experience that demands dedication and a bit of luck to secure a spot. Getting a reservation feels like winning the culinary lottery, and once you step through the doors, you understand why.

The ambiance is a perfect blend of exclusivity and warmth. The low hum of conversation, the soft glow of ambient lighting—it's an intimate setting that sets the stage for what's to come. The staff, though impeccably professional, manages to make you feel like an honored guest rather than just another diner.

Now, let's talk about the food. Prepare your taste buds for a journey that defies expectations. The menu, a carefully curated symphony of flavors, showcases the culinary prowess of the chefs. Each dish is a masterpiece, a testament to the artistry that happens behind the kitchen doors. From the first bite to the last, you're taken on a gastronomic adventure that lingers on the palate long after you've left.

Blacksheep's commitment to sourcing top-notch ingredients is evident in every dish. The fusion of textures and the marriage of flavors are nothing short of extraordinary. The presentation is a feast for the eyes, adding an extra layer of appreciation to each plate.

The service is impeccable. The waitstaff is knowledgeable, attentive, and possesses an uncanny ability to anticipate your needs. You're not just dining; you're being guided through a culinary masterpiece by a team that takes pride in their craft.

Sure, getting a reservation might be a challenge, but that only adds to the allure of Blacksheep. It's not just a meal; it's an event, a celebration of the culinary arts. If you're fortunate enough to snag a coveted spot, prepare to be dazzled and indulge in an experience that transcends the ordinary. In the realm of exclusivity, Blacksheep reigns supreme.

I highly recommend it! I never have a bad experience at Blacksheep 1 1216 Boundary St,...
