So I went to get some food just before 8. I ordered a #2 double, large meal. Just returning home from a trip and so I didn’t check my food before heading home. By the time I sat down to eat there was no sauce at all on my sandwich. I tried to call but I either get a busy tone, or it answers but no one responds and just stays quiet for a minute. I tried going online to see how to report food wrong and didn’t seem to get anywhere if it wasn’t an online order. I tried going to the QR code /site to report from my receipt. It said to put the store number which is on the receipt as 00445. But it said that store didn’t exist. Over and over.
I went here in June on the 20th and ordered the #2 and I always have asked no matter the location for extra red sauce/ranch on the sandwich. This was my first time having the guy argue with me over the mic claiming there was none on it and didn’t know what I was talking about. I tried to explain it again and even a third time and was met with such unprofessionalism. I was at a loss for words with his attitude and tone towards me. So I drove around and went inside to place my order and talked to the manager. As I opened the door this drive thru guy was asking if he was wrong and talking crap about me upfront. This young man who was the manager took my order, listened and was very agreeable with my concerns, I very calmly tried to empathize but also explain that he was absolutely out of line and I didn’t care how hot it was there is never a reason to treat a customer like he did as if I was stupid or wrong. He gave me a free meal ticket and apologized even though he was very pleasant.
The employee who was rude was working tonight as a cook. If I’m honest I didn’t ask for my extra sauce at all because of my previous interaction and not wanting to be treated poorly. And somehow I didn’t get any sauce.
I love this meal but I’m sad to see how poor attention to detail is here in my little experience. I am newer to this area and have not experienced this with...
Read moreI was placing a big order online for our whole family on my elderly mom's birthday. But after going through entering it all online, the app said it was having difficulties and wouldn't allow me to submit the order when I tried to "check out". So, I drove to the location (Hall Blvd and Greenway in Beaverton, OR). I walked in and explained my concern that if the order has gone through online, I would've used an offer for 25% off the total order. Since it was $130 worth of food, that discount mattered for me. The person at the counter told the Manager my situation, and he immediately said he would honor the deal. Phew! So, they entered the order in their system and got to work. Not being able to order the food ahead for pickup had put me about 15 minutes late getting to the gathering. However, the way the staff at Arby's handled the situation when I got there addressed my concern about getting the order quickly, and with the discount I would've gotten if it had gone through online. I understand technical difficulties can occur. It's how the business handles the issue when it happens that makes the difference for me. They even told me to pass on their Happy Birthday wishes to my mom! 🙂 With 9 people in our group, we got quite a variety of things from the menu, incl some of the specialty items. Everyone seemed pleased with everything they had ordered. My mom had the Philly Cheese Steak, which was a limited time item. She had seen ads for it on TV and kept asking about it, but she can't get around on her own anymore - which is why I was getting the food for her birthday there. Thanks to all the staff at the Hall Blvd Arby's for coming through for us!...
Read moreWent to this Arby's after work with my coupons from the mail. I was very excited and happy as I hadn't had a delicious Beef n' Cheddar in a very long time. Go up to order and notice on the counter is a taped sign type thing that says the Beef n' Cheddars are 2 for $5. Decided to go for that instead of my coupon for two sandwiches for $5.50 or whatever. I planned on cashing in my free Loaded Curly Fries coupon and figured all is well. Well it wasn't! I tell my order to the cashier guy and almost immediately I have two other employee ladies come from out of nowhere and start YELLING at me that I can't do double coupons, and I mean YELLING at me, in my face and LOUD in front of the whole restaurant, other customers waiting...everyone. I was completely and utterly humiliated! They just kept on yelling over each other at me that I can't combine coupons. I told them I didn't know their counter sign was a coupon...it didn't look like a coupon to me, just a taped colorful sign on the counter. I also stated that I never ever come to Arby's and wasn't aware of the dangers of combining coupons and why are you making this so complicated, they are just coupons!? Finally, I said Okay, STOP! I just needed for them to chill out and shut up. Just give me 2 Beef n' Cheddars at full price and honor the coupon for the free fries, that's it, it's over. Gah! I was seriously shaking and in disbelief that these two women, these Coupon Nazi's got so riled up over these coupons like it's the end of the friggin' world, wow! I should have left as soon as the yelling started but for some reason I stayed. I do know now that I am NEVER going back to this...
