My husband and I LOVE bagels! Unfortunately what is sold as a bagel at many markets is actually a glorified dinner roll. A real bagel has to be dense and chewy without being tough; toast up beautifully with the right degree of crispness without getting hard and it should not resemble a puffy toasted 'pillow' of white bread. The secret seems to involve a cooking step of boiling the raw bagel in an alkaline bath before baking it and it appears that Einstein Bros. must do this to perfection. Our favorites are the 'pretzel' type (with rock salt coating), these really need to be eaten right away as storing them in a plastic bag melts the salt but their onion, garlic, poppy seed and everything bagels (listed in the order of our preferences) all keep well in plastic in the refrigerator for days. I visit Einstein's whenever I'm on that side of town, I just wish they would put one in...
Read moreWe ordered 2 bagels, a Nova Lox bagel with everything on it, and a bagel with avocado and cream cheese. Pretty simple order for a bagel shop. Got our order, drove all the way home to open up two bagels with a tiny amount of avocado on each of them, no cream cheese, no lox bagel. The total was $13. We went there because we were short on time and they made us drive back for a refund after botching the order. They did offer to remake the correct order, but it was super busy when we drove back so we asked for a refund, which also took a long time to receive. Initially they said they couldn’t refund us for our tip that we added to the card transaction. After asking why we would tip them after they took our order down wrong and even made the incorrect order they entered wrong. Haven’t been here in a while because the last experience was similar. They’re super unorganized at...

I will say this I will promote to all the dashers I know and all over reddit to no accept a single catering order from your location. Good luck...
