Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom — Restaurant in Hillsboro

This is probably our last visit to this place after being customers for long time. You have to wait for 15 mins before multiple employees can confirm if you can get seated at the bar with your temporay permit+DL(that allows you to drive by the rules of DMV and is clearly mentioned as a valid id). Nevertheless,we went to dining area and waited for another 15mins for somebody to just comeover and serve water.Then another person served the appetizer and then another server came over and took over as her shift was ending.After that they served us WRONG orders and came back another 10mins later to bring correct one.Then, when we asked to bring us back the leftover, he never did. Yes ! We realized that only when we got home and just dialled in this morning to share the feedback, it was another experience. Had to explain to 2 different people before getting hold of the manager who was completely UNAPOLOGETIC and SUPER RUDE ! At first she denied having any male server in the restaurant at the time we visited, then denied any employee validating with her about permit and finally asking us back why did you leave your food? When I told her you don’t need to give us any food back but try to improve your service - She started laughing sarcastically and said ‘Yes tell my servers to give left overs back and not to throw them...’. It doesn’t matter to many people to waste food just like that because they have probably seen too much but no wonder this place is losing business to Thirsty Lion and other pubs.. We are not going back...

I came to play video poker. My first ticket that I cashed out was $1,250 and the second ticket that I cashed out was $612.25. I should have received $1,862.25 but the bartender gave me $1,842.25. the bartender seemed to test me to see if I realized she had short changed me. I knew she was acting weird so it made me uncomfortable so I just left. when got in my car, I recounted be the money and saw I was $20 short. I called to speak with her I asked her how much the tickets were for and she I said that my first ticket was $1,225. I asked how much the second one was and she said $612.25. I said it doesn't add up.... I told her I knew for sure my first ticket was $1250. so then she corrected herself and told me the correct amount, which was $1250 and claimed that she made a mistake and I can come back and get my $20. When I arrived back at the restaurant the employees were looking at me as if I was coming there for trouble. So now I'm the bad guy even though she's wrong? This was extremely frustrating considering that it was obvious the bartender had purposely volunteered to take a tip out of my large winnings. She assumed I would not tip her and took it upon herself to take $20 of my winnings . After speaking with her I told her I appreciate her honesty and showing me the tickets and I told her that she could go ahead and keep the $20. she should have been honest to begin with. there is no excuse for the bartender to do what she did and it's very unprofessional and it's stealing. We arrived at 6:15pm on Sunday 1/7 the hostess did not seem to know which table or section was which and asked us follow her to be sat, only to abruptly stop (I ran into her) and ask a waitress what number table is which. We were sat at a table and ordered an appetizer and sodas for 3 people at 6:25pm then placed our order for food when the waitress returned with our drinks. We recieved our appetizer by 6:30pm as it was a slow night and we were the only table in our section. Our waitress checked in one more time to give us refills then never came back or into our side of the restaurant again until another table was sat next to us at 7:00pm. Their food came out before ours at 7:30pm. We finally decided to flag down another server and ask about our food at 7:45pm. He came back to inform us that the order was never recieved and he could take it and get it started. We declined as we had already been in the restaurant waiting for over an hour. He let his manager Ashley know and came back to inform us they would comp our sodas and give us gift cards. We let him know we ordered an appetizer as well. He said the manager would be with us momentarily. At 8:00pm the manager finally came out and gave us a $25 gift card for 3 people. This was not even the amount to cover what we had ordered (two calzones and a deep dish medium custom pizza) very dissatisfied with the service and the attempt to rectify the situation.
