Ismael helped us, was nice & friendly, had great customer service - P.R. (is 1 of the best fast food employees we've ever met.) deserves a raise - big promotion.
There was no line/wait time.
Got the 2 for $6.49 cheddar biscuits (both 👍yummy/good) & extra sausage for $0.99👍, 2 ices (cause weather is so hot it melts fast & water stays colder longer that way.) Free (for everyone 👍. Hot days are another reason to only buy - shop at places w/free water - ice.....)
The eggs are real 👍 (the good stuff)👍
(not like the MacDonald's powdered eggs (their eggs were not fully mixed last time & bit into powder & that is how we found out MacDonald's eggs are not the real (healthier) eggs, the high cholesterol tests they did on eggs (back when they said eggs were bad for you) were done using powdered eggs not fresh...)
& put extra sausage for doggie in a special separate container. So nice! 👍 the 🐶 loved it.
(It's good for fast treat, or training rewards (broken into tiny bites so lasts longer. So you can train your dog(s - cats) that fireworks are fun & they get yummy rewards & they get their human excitedly petting them (& "good job" praising), when they help you find/see fireworks, so it's like double - triple rewards for your pet(s).), if you need a fast yummy choice, this Jack-in-the-box is the place to go.)
Gma said their Jr. Bacon burger is really good too👍.
(This is 10th+ time rewriting-posting review, (app kept blacking out & had to restart then posted & looked like it took but opened place/reviews back up & found it disappeared over & over again.....So hope it takes/posts this time.), Google maps having issues again.....so unfortunately lost alot of the reviews (was posting or that had posted) & info. on good as well as bad places.....) Edit/update: We went back (no line/wait time)(a wasp flew into car as we were ordering, they had great patience) to try their "Supreme Croissant" (Delicious! (Gma added lettuce ($0.25) & tomatoe ($0.25) to her croissant (she liked hers too) + 1 large ice (It's so hot it turned into water fast), doggie got favorite sausage ($0.99) & the ham & bacon from my croissant (& an ice, to cool down. it's so hot! Sweltering hot.), mine was really good (it was the kind of croissant (like great gma used to make) i prefer.), i stuck some my ice in my hat & used the rest as it quickly melted as nice cooling water to drink (It's so hot, it went fast, now need more ice).
Both workers (Erilio/Emilio & Jose) were patient, friendly, had good P.R. & customer service....
Read moreI used to be a "quasi-fast food addict": For many years I enjoyed fast food...and used to frequent fast food joints nearly as much as the average person does. Over the past 10+ years, however, in my attempt to become a "nutritarian", my once completely 'carnivorous' and unhealthy tastes and habits have been largely replaced by "omnivorous" tastes (I now mostly consume produce)...and in this process my 'cravings' for 'unhealthy foods' have vastly diminished...and my taste buds have become much more refined: Most unhealthy foods now taste bad to me and seem low-quality to my newly refined tastes -as they should- whereas healthy foods taste much better to me than they did years ago......and seem of a much higher quality than they used to also.
Not surprisingly, for a long time now, the sandwiches and other food items of most fast food joints tastes very low quality and bad to my taste buds and seems nearly inedible to me. There is, however, very considerable variation and exceptions: Most of the sandwiches at joints such as Burger King, Carls Jr., Burgerville as well as others do remain very 'edible' to my current taste buds and seem fairly decent quality. However, nearly all the burgers of certain other fast food joints such as Jack-in-The-Box, McDonalds, Wendy's and several others taste absolutely TERRIBLE to me.
Though I don't really enjoy it, I do visit THIS particular Jack-in-the-Box about twice a month -whenever a roommate of mine happens to invite me to dine with him at this particular Jack in the Box (or any other restaurant). To turn down an invitation of his to dine with him at any restaurant would come across as insulting to him; hence, I feel 'compelled' to accept his invitations.
I've never been much of a Jack in the Box connoisseur -compared to other fast food restaurants. This particular Jack in the Box -like all others- does seem to have extraordinarily bad tasting food. Even when my roommate pays for my meal (which he almost always does) not only do I feel that I've increased my risk for heart disease and cancer by 25% after one meal.....but I also leave this restaurant upset that at how crappy the meal was.
Otherwise, the service at this Jack in the Box is generally good and another plus is that this joint never seems to be even remotely busy at any time of day (perhaps not surprisingly?). Terrible...
Read moreI've rediscovered Jack in the Box after years of going to other restaurants. I love the quality of their food and usually the employees are always nice. So after the 3rd mistake I told myself I'd contact someone. So 4th issue with this one woman in the drive thru and here I am. I'm prefacing this with that I am always nice to the employees and they are always nice to me. The issues started with this same woman in the drive-thru. It's always the same woman it started with that I asked her if I could get extra pickles at the window. There was no that's 25 cents or 50 cents she simply told me they were out of pickles, as I ate my burger that had pickles on it. And she only gave me half of my sauces. Every time thereafter, she would give me half of my sauces, and if I ordered a burger it would be messed up. So the next two times that I ordered food and the sauces were not all there and my order was messed up I promised the fourth time I was going to complain. I'm not sure what I did to this woman but this fourth time once again I got half my sauces and my burger was completely the opposite of what I asked for in the app. I understand that she does not cook the food so whether she does this directly or indirectly I don't know. I used my rewards to get this burger and I also got some fries. It was disgusting. I asked for no ketchup plus mustard extra mayonnaise and I paid for grilled onions. This burger was drenched in ketchup and that's it. Coincidence that my orders always messed up when she's working quite possible, but I doubt it. When anyone else is working my food is perfect. I feel very strongly about anyone messing with my food. Even if it means just mixing up the ingredients and leaving stuff out of my order. So thanks to this woman which I have a feeling is a supervisor. I'm not going there anymore because I don't want my food messed with. By the way all of my orders are always ordered ahead of time in the app. Again I must say my orders always right when it's anybody other than her . They are always Pleasant even she's not really nasty or anything. But she certainly isn't as nice as the other people So knock on wood that she's not doing this to other people that she doesn't like for...
