UPDATE: After multiple attempts to contact the manager through the email provided that were left ignored, it just further proves all of my points. This location is unprofessional and really does not care about their clientele. I do miss my JM order, but it's not worth dealing with the unprofessionalism of this location.
Despite previous poor experiences with this location, we decided to give it a last try because they are close by and we do love their food. This is the nail in the coffin with Jersey Mike's. I placed an online order equaling almost $40. Without my permission or realization, the system defaulted to a different store. When I arrived at the store to pick up my order, they had not started cooking it. I presented them with the order number and details of my order only for us to realize it had defaulted to a different store. When asked if they would be able to have the order cancelled and made at their store, I was presented with push back and an extremely bad attitude from the girl working the counter. I was told to call the other store to have the order canceled and to reorder from this location. I tried this and called the other store, no answer. I proceeded to call several more times, with no answer from the other store. I told the girl they were not answering and she refused to help. She would not try to call them herself or even look at my call log to see that I WAS trying to do as she asked. All in all, I spent 30 minutes on a ringing phone line, then an out of service message and busy tone. She still REFUSED to help and had the worst attitude I've ever seen someone working in the service industry have. Instead of working with me to resolve my issue, she told me if I wasn't going to order anything, then leave her store. That's what I did, and I will never be returning, thanks to the poor attitudes and unhelpfulness of the people who work there. Regardless of franchising, if you own a restaurant under the same company, you should be willing and able to help customers of ALL franchises under that name. I have never been treated this way by an employee anywhere and I hope others don't have to encounter her terrible...
Read moreMy 4 yo son and I visited Jersey Mike's for the first time today. We walked in because the place looked clean and inviting from the outside with customers steadily streaming in and out. However, after a look at the prices we walked out. But, my son kept on about it and I couldn't deny that it looked and smelled really good and that the guys who greeted us were super nice. Soooooo, we went back after a quick trip to 7/11. I'm EXTREMELY happy we did. It was a pleasant surprise to have the meat and cheese cut fresh. I got the "giant" size sandwich so I could share with the kiddo not realizing just how big it was going to be. Whew! The sandwich was beautiful and tasted great. However, the oregano spice blend was a not cool with a 4 year old. I felt so badly about it but the crew didn't blink an eye to make a whole new sandwich. We gobbled half of the second sandwich and had dinner literally in the bag. I took the original sandwich to my mother who looked like a great white with eyes rolled back as she dug into her meal. Let's say she was pleased too and more than happy with her left overs.
Let's break it down...
My family is looking forward to returning soon (I want a Philly Cheesesteak). We all recommend you stop in to have a wonderful experience such as we did.
Special thank you to the guys who helped us today. You knocked it out...
Read moreUpdate to previous review: the owner has reached out and assured me that delivery drivers will be asked to wear masks going forward, and signs have been posted encouraging customers to wear a face covering. The sandwiches are on point. I am glad to hear the pandemic response has also been brought up to snuff.
Previous review: There is no safe way to enjoy Jersey Mike's during the pandemic.
Yes, the staff all wear masks. The customers in the store while your sandwich is being made, do not. Customers are required to stand 6ft from the prep area, but an uncovered cough or sneeze can travel up to 20ft.
This puts the employees and your food at risk of being contaminated.
On June 24th, the day the mask order went into effect in Washington county, I entered the store and witnessed an unmasked delivery driver being encouraged to enter the premises to pick up an order instead of returning to his car to retrieve his mask.
I reached out to Jersey Mike's with my concerns the same day and received no response. I can only assume that they will continue to flaut the mask order and continue to put the health of their customers and...
