This was my first time going there with my mom it's not too far away just four or five blocks from our house It is part brewery part pizza is not your traditional pizza It is focaccia bottom it's very good but it is very thick it's very buttery and cheesy The prices are moderate ours was about $15 each that's for a small personal pizza that gives you four pieces but very thick pieces we also had garlic cheesy bread which was also wonderful It came with ranch and marinara sauce everybody was very nice The servers were very nice the whole staff was It was very clean they gave us water when we walked in there is seating outside and inside booths and tables you can also sit at the bar it looks like their menu is digital there are digital scans for their menus all over the walls it's very cute My mom had a beer I think it was a Mexican beer she said it was excellent I just had a diet Coke very boring but everything was excellent it's also right in the middle of Beaverton parking is a little hard if you've ever been in the middle of Beaverton

Excellent spot for some great beer and pizza style food. Very clean and modern venue that has its own style and lively atmosphere. Beaverton has it's share of breweries and tap houses, but this brings them together in a concise manner that breathes some new life into downtown Beaverton. The food is delicious and the beers are even better. You don't have to be a craft beer nerd to love the distinct flavors of what they offer. The only cons I would consider is that they close at 1000pm on the weekdays and they only have pizza, conoles and salads to offer in regards to food. They're delicious, but I wish they'd offer more variety, like burgers, chicken or fish. But that's asking a lot. Adding different food is complicated to any restaurant/bar and is always easier said than done. Check the place out. Enjoy it for what it is.

A fun chill spot with good games and good drink menu! We stopped in our way back from TopGolf as we waited for traffic to die down to get back home. My husband and I are not beer drinkers so we were pleasantly surprised by the cocktail menu. 10/10 for drinks - paloma slushee and Java the hutt cocktail were both super tasty. Service itself was 6/10 - one person was pretty cold and tbh felt like they wanted to be anywhere else but there and the other was super friendly, attentive, and thorough. Pizza was pretty solid 8/10! I prefer ruse crust collective for Detroit pizza but honestly this one was very good too - just a bit salty for my taste. This is definitely more affordable, more flexible, and good combos. This is a great spot for an after work happy hour or to come with family and play some board games.

I took husband here for his surprise birthday lunch...as he adores deep dish pizza. In short....it absolutely KNOCKED our socks off.

In long: For some reason, we have been really struggling to find our "splurge" pizza spot.....that blends face-tingling foodie bliss, paired with a relaxed but elegant ambiance....combined with, again....great food.

Holy moly did Ex Novo knock it out of the park! We ordered 2 pizzas....All the Lights and the querque derk....plus a large caesar salad.

1: Pizza Ok I have never had pizza this good....and I usually veer away from deep dish! While deep.....the toppings were artisian, delicious and very generous. The sauce? Amazing. (Not too sweet....just rich and deep and flavor bomb.) The crusty sides with the slightly charred cheese? Delicious.

Also...my husband can EAT....especially good pizza. I wanted leftovers for him...but while these pies dont look huge....there is a LOT there...we can definitely split one next time with a shardd salad. (And both flavors were amazing.) Husband went absolutely bonkers over the pizza. He said at least 5 times it was the best he has ever had.

2: The Caesar Salad: I love love love a good caesar salad....but it is so easy to get a disapointing one. Holy cripes Ex Novo...again....nailed it. This is THE best caesar I can remember havong. The dressing was literrally perfect for my taste...very generous on cheese (and very GOOD cheese) and amazing croutons. I liked it so much....I am still thinking about it 6 hours later wishing for more. Also the large was plenty big to feed 2 as a side dish.

Staff: The place was BUSY when we popped in for lunch. Regardless...the staff was warm....busted themselves to help us fond comfortable seating....and where just great through the whole meal.

Bottomline....we finally found our ellusive amazing pizza spot!!! Everything abput Ex Novo is made with a true passion for food and blissful experiences....and it shows in every amazong...

First time here, came another time but there was an hour and a half wait. The staff was friendly when we got there and seated us quickly. (We don't drink so the others will have to review their brews.)

We ordered a small ceasar, their version of cheesy potatoes called "goonies neve say fries " and 2 pizzas.

The ceasar came after about 20 minutes, which seemed a little long. Our server apologized for the wait and said the rest of our food should be out in a couple of minutes as the had all the orders come in at once.

About 15 minutes later our pizzas came out with the manager who explained that they were out of potatoes so we may not get our appetizer. It seems that they had run out of potatoes. She said the kitchen was attempting to prep more and we possibility could get one, but no guarantees. As she was telling us this, a server came with the goonies for us. Really glad we got them. That was really good. Sliced Yukon gold potatoes with brick cheese, bacon onion and ranch dressing. Great appetizer! (The ceasar was ok, really liked the croutons. )

We got the Querque Derk and the Lucky Cat. Both were good i tried the LC first and liked it. The QD gave me a food moment- an excellent Detroit style pizza. Just perfect!

So- the manager and our server both apologized for our long wait. The manager offered us a round of drinks. Since we don't drink she got me an ice tea and gave us a discount on our ticket. This is why they got a 4 star. I understand that things happen in this business and owning a mistake and making it right scores big points with me. I really appreciate them going the extra mile after a rough service. We...

Good food and beer, nice space, won't be back because of the service model

That pretty much says it all. The beer is very good. The food was tasty, which consists of Detroit style pizzas, sandwiches and salads. For the thick crusted style of pizza, it was very well executed, very crispy sides, which is key. However make sure that's your thing, about half our table realized it wasn't for them. The space is very clean and inviting, although a bit loud. But then there's the seating situation...

It's a dog eat dog world out there, and that's no exception when finding your own table. This is a counter order place where you have to grab your own table. It's beyond annoying. There's no order as to who got arrived 1st, you see someone put their coat on, you flock to the table and try and grab it. So, everyone waiting is peering out constantly and ready to pounce! It's stressful for the people trying to get a table, and for the people seated. We wanted another beer but didn't get one because we felt like we were holding up some other party's meal. And if you did want another beer, it's back to the line with you! Whether ordering beer, food, or paying your tab you go back to the counter. And since we were there on a weekend, it was a 5-10 minute wait each time. This service model may work for some much larger spaces, but was simply frustrating here. I'm very glad Ex Novo took a chance on Beaverton, but until they change to a more orderly seating situation, we...
