Solitude in a Symphony of Noodles at Noodles and Company
I found myself wandering into Noodles and Company one fine evening, drawn in by the promise of two universally comforting entities - carbohydrates and companionship. My experience was a tale of culinary delight, but alas, tinged with an undercurrent of stark, solitary reality.
At Noodles and Company, the noodle is king, and I was its humble subject. I chose the Penne Rosa, and each strand of pasta was an artisan's masterpiece. Every bite was a melodic concert of perfectly al dente penne dancing in harmony with spicy tomato cream sauce, mushrooms, tomato, spinach, and succulent chicken. It was the Sistine Chapel of pasta dishes, a harmonious symphony of flavors that resonated in every corner of my taste buds.
For a moment, time stood still as I savored each mouthful, caught in the enchanting whirlwind of a perfect pasta experience. The staff, the conductors of this culinary orchestra, were nothing short of exceptional. Their commitment to serving up such a memorable dining experience was palpable and thoroughly appreciated.
But as I walked out of the restaurant, take-out bag in hand, a sinking realization began to creep over me. I may have ordered from Noodles and Company, but where was the company that the moniker so confidently boasted of? A glance into my bag confirmed my worst fears. There was an abundance of noodles, indeed, but no company to be found.
I found myself at home, sitting at my dining table in the company of my Penne Rosa. The noodles stared back at me, a silent reminder of the stark solitude that accompanied my meal. It was a dinner for one, despite the bold promise of company from the establishment's name.
Indeed, it was a cruel twist of fate - to be promised company, yet to dine alone. Each bite, as delicious as it was, carried a bitter aftertaste of solitude. The noodles, they were excellent company in their own right, but they could not fill the void of human companionship that the restaurant's name had so innocently promised.
In conclusion, if you seek a gastronomic wonderland where noodles reign supreme, Noodles and Company is your utopia. But beware, dear diner, of the promises made by this establishment's name. For while you will be served a feast fit for a king, you may find yourself dining alone in...
Read moreTo new customers and regulars,
I was a first time customer walking into noodles and co with high expectations after hearing how amazing and good quality the food was. The staff working at this location were young and not very helpful when we asked questions but did the bare minimum which I understand. I ordered the zucchini and chicken pesto, size regular. Before I ordered this I asked how big it really was. The man working at the counter pointed at the large white bowl of trays and said this was the size, but I told him I would like my food to go although I will dine in.. My sister who was also with me ordered a small bowl of cauliflower pasta also in a to go container ( we were so hungry we wanted to eat there). We did not think anything of the size and had high expectations. The first mistake was right when we received our order. The food was RIDICULOUSLY small compared to the size of the white dine in bowls. I ordered a Regular at $10.50 expecting it to be enough food. I am 6ft 205 pounds.. I can eat... It was barely enough for one person. The photos made it seem like it was really big but it wasn't at all. Mistake number two; I asked the staff member if this was a regular upon receiving my order and he just said "yup" and walked away and really gave no interest of making me feel better about wasting my money on something so small. I was very disappointed on the portion size and the quality of the food, which wasn't even that good. I I hate to be negative but I strongly believe this is worth a bad review on google...
Read moreI had my first "real" job at a Noodles location, so when it came time for my wedding they were my first thought! They've been a favorite food of my husband and I for years and I was so glad they were able to cater our wedding. We had a little issue trying to order from another location, they didn't have the man power to take on our order so we were SO HAPPY that Beaverton was able to handle it! The order was 100% perfect, ready on time, they gave us free sides of sauce just in case things got dried out, and provided boxes that kept everything warm and were easy to transport our 13 entire pans of deliciousness. We have loved all the dishes we've tried at Noodles and I'd fully recommend them for catering as well! Our guests seemed extremely satisfied and they're definitely generous with the "feeds 8". I worried each pan would only feed 6 based on how average Americans actually eat versus standard portions but we had plenty of left over so I know it was right on target! Overall so so pleased, I hope to never have to cater an event that big again but if I do I know where we're going! Not even going to try any other location... Probably ever again! These guys...
