After tonight, it being my third time at Ringos, I’ve decided it’s most likely going to be the last time I come. The first time I came There was two bartenders that night, An older man with a hat and Ian with glasses. From our very first experience, we could tell Ian had a very bad attitude, a lot of sarcasm, and quite frankly gave me the impression that he did not enjoy his job. I’ve seen how he interacts with other customers, A lot of them Young girls (20’s), and he doesn’t seem to have the same attitude with them. The first time I came with my husband, brother and sister-in-law he gave us a lot of sarcasm and seemed irritated. Tonight trying to have conversation as we showed him our IDs, My husband asked if he remembered us and he laughed and rolled his eyes and said no Why would I remember? Which seem kind of odd because if you have frequent customers You should at least remember their faces to Have a good attitude and have customers coming back. Tonight when I went to ask for a drink, I grabbed a straw that was right next to me in the counter where you pay and he said Don’t do that. I saw him reach and I thought he was going to grab a straw for my drink and as I reach to put the straws in my drink and said “it’s okay” he grabs all the straws and slams them into the the trash. He then proceeds to say “it’s not okay they’re contained” mind you I only grabbed a straw that was poking out of the bin. When I proceeded to let him know he had bad customer service and that every time I’ve had an interaction with him he’s rude he just laughed and said don’t come back. This was very disrespectful and disappointing because the lady who’s works in the morning and the guy who wears the hat have been very polite and professional. When my husband asked his coworker for his name Ian started cussing and telling us to not come back and that we’ll be told what everyone else. My husband earlier this week had an interaction with the owner who as well had a good attitude and the signs he has outside his bar motivated us to come back. Unfortunately after tonight I’m either coming back when Ian isn’t there or might as well not come back if this is how we’ll be treated as customers. I was sober and know I wasn’t rude to him. I would understand this attitude with someone who might be out of control but not with customers who just came in. I’m not sure if he’s a manager or an owner but this is literally how to run out of business. Him telling me to not come back is just going to make me take my business ($) elsewhere. I’ve read reviews tonight and it’s the same guy. I truly hope something gets done about this guy because overall the bar has...
Read moreI was banned for absolutely no reason yesterday afternoon. I’d began coming here a few days ago because it was the closest bar to my girlfriend’s job where I’d frequently hang out and wait for her to get off and actually befriended a few really nice people. There was a short, stocky bartender with arm tattoos and a beard at the time who asked me if “I was good” one night as I sat on my phone texting my gf and had a beer while watching a college basketball game during the March Madness NCAA tournament. I signaled to him that I was fine and was rudely met with a long “mmkay?”. Weird. About twenty minutes later I began to feel unwell (it was a cheap beer and I don’t drink often) so I decided to go to the restroom and sit down in the stall until I felt better. After 10-15 minutes in the restroom, I heard a loud banging on the stall door asking if “I was good” and to “hurry up and leave”. Also weird. Confused, yet tired and unwilling to escalate further, I obliged, left and proceeded to order an Uber home. I assumed there was someone patiently waiting to use the restroom and thought nothing else of it. Two days later, I brought a relative, who drove 10 hours to visit me from California, to get a bite to eat and was told “I wouldn’t be served anymore”. After asking why I was told the reason being was that I was “in the bathroom too long” and that I was “always faded” with no opportunity to give a response before walking away into the kitchen, despite visiting and being served three times prior without complaint and even being upcharged several dollars more than I authorized on both occasions, which I had planned on discussing and reconciling with them before ordering food that afternoon. I was humiliated in front of a close relative I hadn’t seen in years as well as one or two people at the bar who had no idea what was going on. Hence, I had to dispute two charges with my bank that were $40 and $15 over what I paid for during two separate occasions and I am now officially boycotting Ringo’s for the rest of my existence. Come here if you want to be significantly overcharged, subjected to complete and utter embarrassment (first and secondhand), and pretty much disregarded as a human being entirely! 👍 Possibly the worst service I’ve ever experienced at any...
Read moreFood is a little pricey for greasy bar food but they hit the right spot on flavor if that's what your craving. Good burger w/fries meal (slightly overpriced though. Also I always sub onion rings instead of fries. Xtra$1.25) their onion rings are delicious beer battered, thick and crispy. Good portion too. small and large look about the same to me so save a few bucks and just get the small. I don't drink alcohol but I have had a few friends say they pour a little on the weak side especially if you don't watch them make it. They have video poker but for the first 2-3 months the Seating and Arrangement of the poker machines in the designated area was STUPID. Way to cramped up. Had to walk sideways thru to get past other players to reach a machine always feel like excuse me,excuse me, excuse me,...gotta go get a drink..again, excuse me,excuse me,excuse me. ANNOYING. I'm happy to say after months of that they finally got smart moved a wall back about 3ft and it made a world of difference. No more feeling like canned sardines. I don't believe they actually serve drinks to you at your table except maybe if your eating food there too. Everyone I see seems to line up at the bar to order drinks...And food actually. No table service. Bartenders are not that attentive and will have a friend in ordering drinks and they'll just continue chatting long after the friend has been served their cocktail or beer as the 7-10 people behind him are looking anxiously irritated. Yo, Save your deep convos and bromances for after the bar closes man. Oh and its loud because of the high ceilings and the 6-7 pool tables are all right next to the sitting tables where people eat and like to watch sports on the TV's on the wall as people are doing they're celebratory screams of making the long shot on the banked 8ball or whatever. This is how I do when I go to Ringo's. Order my onion rings when I get there. play vp while they're cookin' go back up grab 'em, get my one fry cup of ranch, Always request two more! Eat them while I spend my last $10 on VP and bail out! occasionally stop at the exit and play a game of pinball bcuz I'm a friggen Wizard! 😊Thursday night trivia, Fri/sat nights definitely a younger 30 and under crowd vibe. Weeknights a lot more...
