Nordstrom Grill — Restaurant in Bellevue

I dine at the Bellevue Grill restaurant two days a month with my 8 year old grandson. We usually order one entre from the kids menu and one entre from the adult Menu . The bill averages $37-50 not including tip. We usually have one of the three service people waiting on us. They know us and always happy to serve us. Today was nothing like our prior experiences. A few weeks ago we did discovered the fish and chips. So today I ordered fish and chips for me to share with my grandson as welll as the Usual Mac and cheese. We had a wait person who was very abrupt and appeared frazzled. This happens so I let it slide. When the order arrived we received a half order of fish and chips. I told the person delivering the food that we ordered a full portion. He said we can redo the order. I told him we were very hungry so we kept our order. The frazzled wait person did not offer my grandson a the drink and fruit cup always included in the meal. I shared one of the two pieces of fish that was included in the meal. . I shared the fries. Well when the bill arrived, they charged me $28 for two tiny pieces of fish. The full portion is $31. So I paid $28 for a tiny-piece of fish for each of us. If I had known this zi would have said yes to the full portion. I asked the waitress why she placed the half portion in the first place she said she placed a whole order. So no one took responsibility. But the half portion was written on the bill. It is outrageous, no accountability, coupled with the poor service has caused me to rethink the amount of money I spend on meals at Nordstrom. During the week I usually have a meal at the Lynwood cafe once a week. I tip well. I am respectful. I should be reimbursed for the ridiculous $28 for two pieces of fish. Today I had my lunch with happy hour drink .The food is so good but the server was so pushy and rude . I misunderstood for the menu ,and I though the Cesar salad was included. Sylvia the server was trying to upselling menu and drink. When I decided to have my main dish , she just asked me do you want to have the salad came at first ? and I said yes but not paying attention. When I finished she gave the bill right away . Then I told her I though the salad included, She said nope ! It charges $11 extra . Then I was confused, she just removed the charge out but she was not happy about it , then come to the table , and talked with me with her attitude, She said next time you have to ask first before you order it , Is that salad included with the menu . It doesn’t look good anyway when you did this way ! I had apologized to her few times but she was not happy and walked away when I paid and I gave her tip 18 % instead . Sometimes I want a server pay attention to customer more , explain something clearly before taking order not just blame me like this ! Not because seeing Asian who doesn’t speak English very good and just add extra things to make a surprise to the end . I have been there many times but never had this kind of experience! I’m not going to beg her for food ! If she works for money then I get the point that she can’t earn more tip $$ but when she covered charge to customer please be nice ! I don’t need rude service from what I paid . The tip should not enough to cover to this lady but at least I gave to the chef who made the salad ! They should not feel bad , but...

I've been here twice. The first time I went to Nordstrom Grill I had a great experience. The Waitress was amazing at her job and got us everything we needed very quickly. The food was great. I had the Nordstrom burger. I went here today with my boyfriend as a fun day trip. I was excited to eat there again after the great experience I had. I was quickly disappointed. The waitress we had was very kind, we ordered two nordstrom burgers (keep in mind we asked for medium.) When the food got to our table It looked a little different. I bit into it and noticed the burger was a little bloody. Eventually when I had eaten more of it i noticed that the inside of the burger was very pink. To anyone it was clear this burger was uncooked. I tried to get a waiters attention for a while but nobody came to check up on us. Eventually I got the attention of a worker and asked if my burger looked a little raw to him. He said "That looks like what our medium burger would be." It was HOT PINK. I do give him points for saying they could make a new one, however I wasn't exactly hungry after eating a good amount of a raw burger. I ended up asking for at least a discount. When our bill came It was only 20% off my meal only. (I barely ate any) I am disappointed that they denied it, and my boyfriends burger was normal so I wasn't just being paranoid.
