Wendy's — Restaurant in Beloit

This location is very underwhelming. Every few months you see different staff and get your hopes up that something may have changed but it unfortunately has gotten worse. After I ordered a baked potato I was asked "anything else" for my next 12 items, with an ever increasing loss of patience in her voice. I saw the new big bacon cheddar sandwich, thought I'd try it. When I asked if I could sub out the bun I was told to just try a different sandwich. I insisted and once the cashier got approval from a manager (an unnecessary step but perhaps a new employee) she made the change. The cash taker wasn't personable definitely the "anything else" person. She wasn't rude at all either and that's important too. Just straight to the point. The employee who handed my food out was a rockstar. Very nice, quick polite greeting, confirmed the items in my order and had already double drink trayed our three large drinks (my favorite). Fries never make it out of the parking lot with me and I was disappointed mine were a touch above room temperature. The "double" sandwich, well it had one and a half Pattie's. Half the bottom bun clearly didn't have a patty. I was certainly full but that's not okay either. The classic chickens were old. Way too old. When they're fresh I feel like it's the best thing on the menu but when they're old and the chicken edge is hard it's a completely different experience. Nasty. My wife thought the bacon and cheddar baked potato and the chili were delicious even though the chili had no liquid at all. It was a cup of chopped Pattie's and beans. Tasted hot, fresh and good either way.

The food is okay when it's okay. Which it isn't more than it is. But the real issue is the management. The employees are either young and clueless or older and absolutely dreadful. They look like they are checked out. The Manager, particularly the woman. Is among the most foul and rudest employee I've encountered. She doesn't pay attention ,she's rude, she's loud, she's just ridiculous in all honesty. I had to return to correct a missed drink that I had and she basically tried telling me I was attempting to steal until I showed receipt. It's silly really. Also it looks like I'm trapped in the 90s in every Wendy's I ever go to . The bathroom is unkept, and never had paper towels or soap. Go to the other location. They...

We like the good there. My son's like the nights better than McDonald's so we usually pick here to eat. But they literally always put ice in our drinks, give us sprite instead of water and always have onions in everything! This may not be a big deal for the most part except ya know some of us are extremely allergic and can't eat it once the onions have touched our food. One other big pet peeve is a few night ago we stopped for a late dinner and we sat at the menu for 15 mins, honked our horn and nothing. We ended up just ordering pizza so it would be delivered by the time we got home. It was 8pm so still within operation hours.
