OMG!!! If I could live in front of their location I absolutely would. As a vegan of 4 years I have found it sorta difficult to locate good vegan eateries. Next Level Burgers and the Veggie Grill sorta dominate the field. Not here. I got biscuits and gravy.....YES fellow vegans, I said biscuits and gravy! They are our of this world good! The portions are huge and the prices.....the prices beat any place I've been. The only places comparable to here are Annie's Cafe in Spokane and Cafe Wylde in Everett, Wa. I say compare because they are good places but this spot far exceeded my expectations! The food is AMAZING! They should have their own show on the Food Network to teach all how unbelievably great vegan food can be. I will come back to Bend just to come here. I finished my meal minutes ago and am already craving my next trip! I am blown away. Oh, and the wonderfully nice woman running the place, and her cook, are uber friendly and great conversationalists. Also, some of the best coffee I've ever had is connected to them and the two locations work together in vegan harmony. There is no way my words could do them justice. If you're vegan or not you will love this place. My mouth is still thanking me. I ❤ A...
Read moreFood was okay. I got the Balsamic Veggie Sandwich and it was a little soggy and tasted pretty generic but the prices weren’t bad. As for service, I am completely displeased. My partner and I walked up to the food truck to order and my partner was barely acknowledged. I began to order our food and the person taking our order would not look at me. They would only look at my partner. If there was a question they had about our order it was directed at my partner even though I was the one placing the order. It stood out, as on this particular day I was the only person of color in the space that the food truck is parked. It is completely unacceptable that I was ignored as I...
Read moreWe had the BARB-B-Que eggplant Po' Boy sandwich and the taco combo. Both were amazing! I admit I was skeptical when I saw the sandwich because I'm usually not a fan of sandwiches (too dry for me) but this one was phenomenal! The bun was moist and squishable and it had a lovely slightly sweet flavor! It didn't look like there was enough eggplant to "carry" the dish, but I was totally wrong, the flavor and texture were great. I wish we lived nearby so I we could be regulars here. Highly recommended! TIP: Funky Fauna was playing very loud punk rock music outside when we were there, but we wanted to eat outside so we dealt with it. I would have worn ear protection if I...
