El Taquero — Restaurant in Bend

This is by far the BEST authentic taco 🌮spot I’ve come across since Ive been in Oregon. And this is my second winter here. I am staying jn Portland and and took my family to Bend to visit and site see, and we actually found this place through google (🙏🏽thank you).

My favorite tacos are Al Pastor, and Im telling you, I NEVER find anyone who does them right, unless I just go back home to the south. My family got the pollo quesotacos, I got the pastor taco and quesotaco with Consome and a Mulita.

I’m telling you this place is truly a hidden gem and if you like authentic street food (sprinkled with a little TLC) and know how tacos are supposed to taste, 👏🏽this 👏🏽is 👏🏽it! You will not be disappointed or dissatisfied with the food, service, or anything! And the people were so super sweet! I only wish they were closer to Portland.

El Taquero is a hidden gem in Central Oregon, and I can't get enough of their quesobirria tacos as they're hands down the best in town! The combination of juicy meat and melted cheese, dipped in steaming consume, makes every bite is simply irresistible. Beyond the quesotacos, they offer a variety of other delicious dishes that are equally fantastic.

Their agua frescas are a must-try too, freshly made daily and the perfect complement to any meal.

Hansel and Hannah, the owners, are amazing as well as their lovely staff members. They're not only friendly and hospitable but also incredibly efficient—having your order ready in no time.

Most disappointing tacos I’ve ever had. Literally. Meat was absolutely bland, tortillas were very lackluster. They were so bland and uninspiring that I didn’t even finish eating them. If you actually believe this is good Mexican food you owe it to yourself to try one of the 20+ better options in the area, because this is simply subpar. Can’t believe they have such great reviews either, makes me wonder how many of them are even real reviews from real customers…
