Kobold Brewing The Lair — Restaurant in Bend

What a delight of a brew pub sitting in the heart of downtown Bend. To start, their wide selection of beer had me honestly a bit nervous at first. Wanting to get a true taste of this brewers technique seemed a bit daunting through a single flight. But with a few recommendations from the bartender at the time, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this brewery can cover a wide array of styles very well while still having their own personal character to each one.

The food options were simple, from cold sandwiches to pizzas and some small side items. Having tried the sandwiches, they were a step above just your average cold cut stacker. So it was nice to see there was a good amount of care in their few items, making any choice a good one.

The sandwiches are quite big and well made! The beers are also good, my favorite was the hazelnut, the lawful something and the Oktoberfest. They sell canned beers to go!!!
