Love me some Italian food and I haven't yet found a good place in Bend until NOW!! We went in pretty early around 5pm and the place was about half full. We were greeted with friendly people and given an amazing booth by the window. I have to say the service here was top notch. Always attentive, helpful and just the right amount of great conversation and recommendations. My wife ordered and Sea Scallops and I ordered the Beef Carpaccio Appetizers. Now I've had some scallops in my life but let me tell you this Chef knows what he's doing. Not only were they picture perfect they were cooked to perfection. Best Scallops I have ever eaten, hands down. I'm so happy my wife was willing to give me a couple bites. Not to be missed. My beef Carpaccio was delicious with the fresh toasted bread. YUMMY! I ordered the Hand Made Ravioli with Meat sauce and she the Duck Ragu. Pasta was cooked perfectly and the portion sizes were just right. The amazing flavors were diverse and I don't know how they could have been better. Desert was Chocolate Torte, Tiramisu and they had Basil Gelato. I think that's what it was. Wow that knocked my socks off. SOOO Good. This unassuming jewel in the heart of Bend is my new favorite place to eat. GREAT service, GREAT food and decent prices. What could be better? Loved it loved it loved it! THANK YOU!!!

Sometimes I crave Italian food, so I found this place on Google Maps and decided to visit. Although I usually eat dinner early, I arrived around 4:30 PM during Happy Hour. Excluding beverages, the food wasn't cheaper than usual—it simply came in reduced portions, so there’s really no reason to rush to the restaurant during Happy Hour. The food itself was neither above nor below average—it was just ordinary. As for the service, aside from the staff who greeted customers and the helper who cleared plates, one woman was taking all the orders for the entire dining hall, which led to long waits. To expedite table turnover, she even refused to take my dessert order, which crossed the line. I immediately paid and left. Contrary to the positive reviews, the food wasn’t outstanding, and the pasta was just average—better than Olive Garden’s pasta, but that’s about it. The overly profit-focused attitude towards customers makes me unlikely to visit again. Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

First experience at Salute Italian restaurant in Bend. Worth mentioning, the Chef really knows how to prepare dishes to the delight of your taste buds. The Fillet Mignon was seasoned and cooked perfectly. High quality meat full of flavor and smooth/soft to the tongue. Asparagus was perfectly cooked and had a pleasant smoked flavor. The Chicken Alfredo had the perfect balance of cream and noodle texture. The chicken was tender and rich in flavor. The prawn salad was delicious. One note to the owners... we were delighted to see what appeared to be perfectly cooked scallops for our appetizer. Perfectly cooked indeed the scallops were. But the flavor was overly fishy, perhaps the result of a lower grade of scallop? We suggest using the highest grade/quality of scallops to match the preparation skills of your chef. All in all, a great Italian experience. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We came in tonight for our anniversary. We ordered the brie appetizer which was delicious, we did have to ask for extra bread... Because there was not enough bread to accommodate the cheese. But they were very accommodating about that! For our main course we ordered the fillet... and the ravioli... We followed the cooking recommendations based on what our server told us the restaurant generally followed. After about 30 minutes of waiting, we were told that they had to run out to get our steak from a nearby restaurant... Another 15 to 20 minutes went by, and our food arrived...! The ravioli was nearly raw, it was so undercooked that it was hard... And the steak was so overcooked (even at medium, it was almost gray all the way through, there was no pink in the middle whatsoever)... even though we had ordered based off of our server's recommendations. When the manager approached our table, I was crying into my napkin because I was so disappointed about how our food finally came out. My husband had a conversation with her, and explained the situation, so she gave us a 25 percent discount off of our two entrees that were not satisfactory... I was unable to actually speak at this point... Seriously? We were not finishing this food... Our server later asked us if we wanted "to-go" boxes, to which we responded, no thank you, of course, because the food wasn't prepared properly! It was not edible to us, we made our concerns known, and were greeted with placation. All in all it was a very disappointing experience,.. We just wanted to have a delightful anniversary dinner, and we did not get that! We wanted to love it, but we left with so much disappointment and empty bellies.. Not a very happy anniversary experience for us! Even after...

Every visit is consistently outstanding! Unlike some restaurants that struggle with consistency, this one always delivers amazing food and service. If you're looking for incredible dishes that are impossible to recreate at home, a wonderful ambiance, and service that hits the mark every time, this is the place to be. The entire waitstaff is exceptional, with Tim being our server last night (for our anniversary). He always does an excellent job of checking in at just the right moments, offering perfect recommendations for both food and drinks, and helping us with genuine kindness. Their happy hour is a fantastic deal, and the dinner menu is not only a great value but also consistently exceeds expectations. On our most recent visit, we enjoyed an appetizer that was as visually stunning as it was delicious. The onion soup was the best we’ve ever had, and both entrees were top-notch — including the first salmon from the Columbia River this season, wow so fresh! The dessert was perfectly balanced, offering just the right amount of sweetness and a delightful finish to the meal. This is hands-down our favorite restaurant in...
