MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Bend

Normally would give 4 stars for quality, selection and speedy service, but the service is not good now. Could be that I ordered during their peak time, but I've eaten from this location before during dinner rush with no issues. There were 4 Door Dash drivers waiting to pick their orders the entire time I sat and waited 30 minutes after the designated online order pick up time. Could be because of Covid related issues, but a restaurant model like this should be thriving; easy online ordering, easy in and out. The music is too loud and the employees' voices are too timid to hear them call out names through their masks of whose orders are ready. I finally approached the girl who appeared to be expediting orders to see if I had missed it. With a deer in headlights look she wasn't sure, looked around and after several minutes discovered they hadn't started it yet. There is a major disconnect between the online system and employees at the store if they are that far off.

End result: no food. After waiting over an hour past the designated pick up time, I talked to the kid running the register and even though our pizzas were made they couldn't get them in the oven due to backlog of unknown orders, probably from countless canceled orders. I overheard others saying they had been waiting for over an hour as well. He offered me a refund which would not help me feed my family. I stayed calm and just asked how much longer with my order sitting there ready to go in the oven. He said maybe 20 minutes more, but was unsure. I took the refund and then had to figure out where else to get food for the family. By the time I drove halfway across town, my wife had ordered from Abbys and it was hot and ready when I got there.

I placed an order over the phone on my way in, as I usually do, and ran into two bugs with the automated answering machine. It couldn’t take my card for payment, or add feta cheese.

I arrived at the location and spoke to the cashier, who took payment and told me that feta was in stock. I asked the girl boxing the pizzas if I could add some feta cheese to the order before it’s too late, to which she said I would have to get in line behind 8-10 customers to make that change. I elected not to, and waited longer than usual for my pizza.

When my name was called, I grabbed my pizza and headed back to my car. Almost drove away before realizing that the pizza I had been given wasn’t mine; someone else got my mega dough with pepperoni, mushroom, and artichoke, and I got their mod size with pepperoni, bacon, ham, and two sides of ranch.

Fairly upset, I went back inside and asked to speak with a manager. The manager heard me out, refunded my order, and handed me a card for a free mod sized pizza, which is unfortunate, because I hate that cracker-thin crust.

Worst service I have ever experienced! The Girl "Manager” blondish hair with glasses. She was rude, sloppy making all the pizzas, and didn’t even ask what kind of pizza we wanted or what sauce we would like on it. We were all paying separately, I did arrive with family. Multiple times she put the wrong items on my pizza, several different times. When I finally got my pizza I asked for ranch. She stated she already gave another person in my party ranch. She gave another person ranch not me. So I asked again if I could get ranch and she asked do you really need more ranch. After I got the ranch went to sit down. We are cleaning up and one of the people I’m with had asked for a few regular size box’s. This lady then roles her eyes at her. Worst experience ever and the food was very poor quality.
