If I could give this place a ZERO I would. This is a long post. PLEASE READ.
On February 27, 2018 I visited Freddy’s Restaurant in Benton. While I was there I left my wallet on the table at Freddy’s. The following day (2/28/18) I called the restaurant at 12:36 pm to see if my wallet had been found. The woman I spoke with said there was not wallet there. I called a second time at 7:57 pm to see if my wallet had been found; this time I requested a manager to help me. She told me to wait for her to go check her office, VERY shortly after; she returned and said it was not in the safe or on top of the safe. Keep in mind this phone call was only 55 seconds; so it was frustrating to know she did not look hard for it at all. At roughly 9:30 pm on February 28, 2018 I drove up to the store to check the parking lot and had no success. I entered Freddy’s and noticed a worker I had seen the night before. I asked him if they’d found a wallet and he quickly responded with yes we did! This was surprising because my two phones resulted in being told my wallet was not there. According to a crew member, she found the wallet and turned it into her manager. When I asked the manager where my wallet was, she said she would go look for it. She came back unsuccessful and told me it wasn’t on the safe or inside the safe. Upon that time, another manager came to the front and told me he would look for it. He also checked the office and had no luck locating my wallet. I was beginning to think I was going to go home empty handed; a crewmember came up front with my wallet in hand and told me it was on top of some printer paper. I checked my wallet while still standing at the counter and there was $120.00 missing out of my wallet. Thankfully, I keep my cash separated in my wallet because I also had $40.00 that was still in my wallet. I was asked to check my wallet again; so I emptied all my belongings out on the counter with the same conclusion. I was told a variety of things to do, one person said they could call their GM and another told me to call back tomorrow. The most frustrating response was, “how am I supposed to know if you had $40.00 or $120.00.” I responded; “I have no reason to lie about the amount of money I had in my wallet.” To further prove that I am telling the truth, I accept that I may not get the money I had back. While that is extremely frustrating, I can live with it if the person who stole from me is identified. This whole event took about 30 minutes to resolve, and I left with $120.00 missing out of my wallet. On 3/1/18 at 10:50 am I called the store to speak to the GM; after explaining to him what happened. He told me that they are a very busy store and when he has the TIME to go back through the video footage he will and let me know what he finds out. I am very disappointed with the professionalism...
Read moreHaving ordered both in-person and via online delivery services, each time large items have been missing on my order and each time it’s been due to error on Freddy’s end (I’ve called the store to confirm and they acknowledged it was fault on their end). Not just missing condiments either-which is par for the course with fast food-but entire combo meals and drinks. I was also told that they seal their delivery bags with a green door dash/delivery company stickers, yet each time that sticker is missing (again, they said that they seal the bags, not the delivery person). I get that during the dinner rush things happen, but such large items being missed repeatedly is a problem. Not to mention this wasn’t a large order - just 2 combo meals with no deserts! The girl was very nice on the phone and I’m sure there’s a good chance it wasn’t her fault at all, but she said that it was shared blame as the driver should have double checked the order. This is true and so please know they’re been contacted as well. To Freddy’s credit, they did offer to remake my meal should I be willing to drive all the way back to the restaurant which I declined (too much trouble) but this is an issue into which management should seriously look. Once or twice of an order being wrong is normal as accidents happen. But multiple times over and over again turns it into a concerning problem that has caused me to eat elsewhere which is sad because if you can actually get your food...
Read moreMy husband and I go here occasionally to dine in on some burgers and fries (both of which are very tasty). Every now and then., we treat ourselves to their delicious frozen custard sundaes. We went about a week or so ago to get a couple for dessert. My hubby likes the tropical delight and I got the turtle sundae. We went through the drive thru, ordered and picked up our order and left. We only live a mile or so from there, so we went straight home. We got home and I dug into mine through the whipped topping and cherry on top only to find it was only the custard. They had not put in any hot fudge or caramel. We didn't want to drive back there right then so we put it off until the next day. We took pictures of it on our phone to show them. I went in and asked for a manager and he was very gracious and apologetic. He gave me 2 coupons for a later date. We used them tonight and our sundaes were loaded with goodies!! I dont see how they could have made such a mistake but it was rectified and that's what matters. We will go back again. I think all restaurants need to be held accountable for their mistakes no matter how big or small. I think they appreciate knowing how they are doing and how they could improve. Sorry this was...
