Bruegger's Bagels — Restaurant in Bethel Park

Ordered via the Bruegger's app while in the parking lot right outside. It said my order would be ready in 10-15 minutes so I went inside after 12 minutes anticipating I'd wait only a few minutes more. While waiting an additional 10 minutes past the 15 minutes I had been advised, I viewed numerous walk-ins order and receive their food. I saw another individual who ordered with the app come in after me who was addressed and given his food before me despite me being there several minutes before him. At that point I did not feel valued as a customer and requested a refund, but was told by the manager they could not refund orders placed via the app. I was about to lose it when another employee walked up with my order so I accepted it and left after uttering a few choice words. As I walked away, the manager yelled the obligatory, but empty, "I'm sorry sir. Thanks for stopping in. We're trying the best we can." This was only for her sorry benefit as there is no excuse for what goes on in that store. I thought it could only get better when Rose left, but this place is still unacceptable. NEVER AGAIN. There are plenty of locally owned, non-chain restaurants in the area...

Customer service simply does not exist here! I was greeted with " what do you want". I asked what the soup of the day was and the reply was " signs on wall. even an idiot can see that..and she can get it for you" motioning to the lady at the register. I told him I was also getting a Leonardo de veg and he snapped back " be specific spread and what do u want on it" I order this at other Brueggers and have NEVER had that reply. Im not certain why he was rushing me through my order...there wasnt another customer anywhere in sight. As he made my bagel he leaned over the counter the whole time Huffing and sweaty. Instead of eating this mess I threw it directly in the trash. I thought I was being punk'd It Was That Bad. I asked for the regional managers name and was told they did not have one. The ONLY plus was there was a younger guy...who was very nice wiping tables and whispered as I walked out the door " sorry ". I called twice following this incident to speak with the manager...no call...

Once in a while I come to Bruegger's Bagels to enjoy a pastrami egg and swiss on a Pumpernickel bagel. As always, the food did not disappoint me.

However, with this particular experience, there was a young lady who waited on me, and I thought her service was exceptional! It may even be better said that her "work ethic" was exceptional because as I watched her work as she Incorporated my order into the mix, I said to myself, "This gal is a rockstar! I would hire her in a heartbeat!"

I really wish I would have gotten her name so I could give her a shout out of praise here on Google, but I can say that this gal will go places in whatever business she is in!

She displayed a great friendly attitude, and outstanding work ethic when I was there. I was just extremely impressed! Bruegger's got this young lady way too cheap cuz she's worth more than what they're paying! I hope she gets a promotion! Good job to Brueggers for hiring such a talent, she is making them...
