I would like to share my experience at Moe's in Bethel Park today because it was so great! A crew member named Emily waited on me. I have a daughter who has Celiac Disease, so I have to order gluten free for her. Emily knew right away the protocol to follow in order to cut down on the chances of getting my food cross contaminated. She was very knowledgeable and friendly even though making something gluten free can take more time because they change their gloves and get some of the items from underneath, so it has not been contaminated by the gluten. As a customer I appreciate her knowledge and willingness to help in this area. I also have to commend the manager at this store because even when I see new faces, they all seem to be knowledgeable about gluten free and the protocol to follow. The manager is doing a great job at training these new employees. It means so much to us having a daughter with Celiac Disease that at this location of Moe's the employees go out of their way to make her food as safe as possible. There are not many restaurants she can eat at because they do not have a protocol to follow to cut down on the chances of cross contamination. Again, thank you all so much at this Moe's Bethel Park location - you guys...
Read moreI love the franchise owners of this company so I can't bear to give them less than four stars, but it was a little disappointing. Maybe people were just having a rough day but the manager on site was not especially friendly to any of the customers, ( the lady in front of me didn't quite understand the half and half meat option versus double meat option and the manager was pretty impatient about it) both the freestyle machines weren't maintained as they were out of NNS ( non nutritive sweetener so not the diet drinks had any sweetness to them) tables were dirty, trash needed changed, salsa bar needed refilled and they certainly weren't short staffed. Questionable portioning on food items but the actual food was good aside from the tofu which had clearly been sitting in the hot well for an extended period of time ( it was a Friday in Lent so don't judge me with the tofu LOL) and also there was no "welcome to Moe's" I love Moe's so I hope that this location gets it together and maintains the reputation that Moe's deserves.
*still better...
Read moreWould give 0 stars if I could. We go to Moe's a fair amount and this is by far the worst we were ever at. The portions are extremely small compared to everywhere else and it costs more, we always get the same thing and it was definitely more. Im not talking a little skimpy on 1 thing I'm talking about 4 meals that were extremely small to the point we had to grab a snack as soon as we got home. Burritoes were so small, nacho dinner was small, and tacos literally were made with half the meat they usually are, just as examples. An employee told me that's because they are new and they have corporate breathing down their neck so every other moe's we were ever at does it wrong and his solution was to actually fill up our caso cup that was given to us mostly empty. Add in it was filthy, food literally everywhere and the floor, especially behind the counter, was covered in food. No drink lids... miserable experience would never recommend this place we will drive a lot further to go to...
