I’ve been to other Brew Ha Ha’s and the coffee is amazing. If I was basing it just on the coffee I would probably give a five star. However, I’m basing this on their policy. It’s 80° out and I have my toy poodle with me. Hypoallergenic non-shedding in a carrier. All I wanted was a Cortado to go. I literally could’ve ordered it in the time she told me no dogs allowed. So due to their no dogs allowed can’t get anything to go policy. I’m giving them a one star. In Florida dogs are allowed everywhere, grocery stores, coffee shops, Target etc. you name it. Dogs cause no more disease in FL than here in Wilmington Delaware. It’s not like the dog was walking on the floor. They need to update their animal policy. Absolutely absurd. I probably have more germs on my shoes and hands walking in and out of this place than a dog in a carrier that is touching nothing but me. I guess they prefer a dog stay in 80° car and maybe heat stroke out than being in a carrier for less than five minutes to order a drink to go. I could’ve even ordered and waited outside. Shmt. Considering dog ownership has quadrupled since Covid I think brew ha ha really needs to think this strict policy out. I’m off to the other local coffee shop that allows me to bring my dog in for a quick...
Read moreThe food and coffee were fantastic, however my experience was awful. I was enjoying my coffee and browsing my laptop when a woman came in and sat behind me. She got on a call and proceeded to say "I'm too infectious for the office so I'm working remote. I'm def infectious." She then proceeded to sniffle and cough, all without a mask. I told her she was in the wrong for coming into public, with a closed AC system, while sick and that she should leave. She said "it's just a cold" and I reminded her that covid is still a concern and that even a "cold" can be serious to some people and that she needed to leave. She ignored me. I repeated myself, louder, to ensure she heard me. Still, she ignored me. An employee approached me, I explained myself, and was asked to MOVE TO THE FRONT. I decided to leave. The fact that the woman was allowed to sit there, visibly sick, while I was asked to move is insane. She should have been asked to leave immediately and everything she touched and the seat and table should have been immediately sanitized. The fact that I was treated like the problem when I was just protecting mine and everyone else's health is offensive to say the least.
Don't go here. You'll risk...
Read moreToday, I went to this Brew Haha and it was completely awful. Everyone was rude and not at all friendly, we’ll except for the barista. They first forgot to ring me up for meal after repeating it back to me to ensure that it was right, and then when I mentioned it to them, they apologized in a very sarcastic tone. I got back in line to pay for my food, which is when it actually got worse. This old lady came in and ordered a coffee. She had a $20 and needed to make change. She tried making change using the tip jar (she was clearly not stealing. She did it right in front of them). The thin girl with a ponytail and a sharp tongue, who I guess was the manager, walked over and this was how the conversation went: 👺:what are you doing with my money? 👵🏻: oh. I’m just trying to make change 👺: well you’re setting a bad example for everyone (sarcastically) 👵🏻: oh I... (was interrupted by the girl) 👺: well I guess we should just tell everyone not to listen to you right? (With an attitude) 👵🏻: well I guess don’t listen to me (kindly and still with a smile, which I would not have done)
This situation brought me to tears at how they treated their customers...
