I have eaten the food (AMAZING!!!), but this weekend I had the pleasure of decorating a birthday party at this awesome, family owned restaurant now turned event space!! The experience from being to end was great. From our first walk through and consultation to the day of the event the owner, Veronica, was friendly, responsive, and easy to work with which made everything run smoothly. The vibe of the space itself was really functional from an event design perspective. Very relaxing and chill, extremely clean and modern. The artwork on the walls really added to the overall esthetic and cozy feeling making it feel less like your average event space. It fit 50-60 guest comfortably and you can really tell that they've put a lot of thought and care into making the space welcoming and functional for events. If you are looking for a place to host an intimate event, party, anniversary or special gathering, I'd definitely recommend giving them a call! I can't wait to host or decorate my next event here.

Best BBQ in the Lehigh Valley. If you catch them on a day with burnt ends, get them! Since I left Kansas City 10 years ago, I’ve been looking for good burnt ends and they finally hit the spot. Brisket and pulled pork were amazing too. Good bark. Incredibly tender. Mango slaw was something different and surprisingly tasty. It reminded me of Carolina red slaw, and the mangos balanced the bitterness of the cabbage perfectly. Mac n cheese was rich and quite cheesy. It was worth the up charge, but would be over the top if it had some bacon. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The dining area was brightly decorated with items and artwork that had personality… a mixture of Lehigh Valley, Philly, Chicago, hip-hop, and BBQ. Food is presented simply in disposable paper baskets with plastic utensils and paper napkins… nothing fancy. But if it was fancy, it wouldn’t be real BBQ.

First time trying this place and my friends REALLY liked the brisket. The mac n' cheese tasted great - my friend and I are picky with how we like our mac n' cheese and we both agree it was awesome (and we normally do not agree on it). There are two drawbacks - 1) they are only open Fridays and Saturdays with limited hours, and 2) The dining area is very open and not great for sound. There was only us and another table (on the other sidenof the room), so it wasn't loud, but our table of four had a difficult time hearing each other without talking louder than normal. Parking wasn't difficult to find, as a large parking garage is diagonal from this place. As a side note, the entrance is actually the second door and not the first one that has its name on the window.

Excellent food! We were introduced to The Taste Smokers when a neighbor had them cater a neighborhood gathering. Since then, we’ve ordered “To-Go” for a large group, and also visited during the soft-opening. Every time, the food is excellent. And, the service is excellent, too.

As for the food. Having grown up in Missouri, we would make a point of hitting the BBQ spots in KC and St Louis. And, seeking out good options, when we travel. I like BBQ.

At The Taste Smokers, the meat is excellent, and most of the sides that we've tried have been very good.  Flavorful and interesting, and while hearty they retain nuance.  Also, a little bit of heat - not for the sake of spice, but to enhance.

Brisket is moist. They did a brisket chili that was superb, but I think that was a special.  Pulled pork is excellent, even without sauce.  Jerked chicken - meaty drum sticks, and the flavors are not over the top.  My wife had the salmon and loved it.  The sausages [and chicken] are favorites for my daughter.

Sides.  The baked beans are rich, hearty, and flavorful.  The macaroni is another favorite.  The street corn!  Oh my - very good. Mango slaw - heat, sweet, and the crispy texture - Excellent!

With respect to customer service, for our group gathering Quartez guided us through the process so that we had the right amount of food, and a good mix of options for our budget. When I arrived to pick-up, everything was packed nicely, and they wanted to make sure that I had everything I needed. The order was spot on in quantity, and our guests were very pleased with the meal. That, and there’s just a good vibe when you visit their place on 3rd.

We have been very impressed. It’s worth the 30 min...

Well, I am going to clearly state why I am giving this establishment the review you are about to read. I had to pleasure of having tastesmokers products at a company event. Even was able to meet the head pit master and owner Himself which I will not state a name as I feel that is unfair to disclose but if you know you know. I have been calling for almost 2 to 2.5 months on Friday or Saturday to see if they were open to the public. Most times no answer or call back but sometimes a call back would happen which I appreciated. I understood the whole month of the ocktober fest gig but really? You guys lack of attention to the rest of your supporters is really annoying. So I found some extra time in my day to help people understand why they don’t phone calls answered or drive 30-45 mins to you to see you closed when clearly your hours online says you were open. So now im left with less gas in my tank, time wasted, still hungry and now need to adjust everything off of the lack of communication on your end. I would look forward to a weekend I was off to be able to come here in person but clearly the doors are almost always closed to the public. Thank you taste smokers for this experience. Just so you know I Smoke meats too. I’ll see you at a competition real soon. I’ll just go to Mission BBQ and support them at least the owner there is really nice and friendly. Even gave my son a free brownie free of charge. Smh do better TS. Very disgusted and disappointed in this establishment. Should follow up with the BBB for false advertisement on everything. Don’t even visit the page or get tempted just go to Mission BBQ...

Chicago has been on my list of places to visit for a while mainly for their native famous foods. As a NYC -PA transplant, I’m always in search of restaurants/food worthy of praise. This place has been on my radar for about a year and on Sat. 3/29/25, my family and I finally made it over to check it out. Upon entry we all fell in love with the local artists’ work adorning the walls. The chalkboard menu was very simple and to the point and the seating truly gives a warm “outdoor backyard family bbq” inside. We were warmly greeted by Veronica, who promptly took our orders to ensure we all got what we wanted from the menu. Now I must apologize for not being able to post pics of the food but from the moment we walked in to the moment the food was placed in front of us, the divine smell coming from the kitchen had us salivating. So as soon as we had the chance to dig in - all bets were off! Zero time for any damn pics because that is just how good it all was- the smell lived up to the hype! We had the jerk chicken, salmon, brisket, mac & cheese and bbq baked beans made with brisket. All I can tell you is that this place is a hidden gem & it was one of the highlights of my entire birthday weekend. Quartez & Veronica got a good thing going on over there and I can’t wait to return with some friends. This is by far the best bbq I’ve had in all of Lehigh Valley & Monroe County. If you find yourself in or around Bethlehem, PA on a Friday or Saturday, drop in and give your tastebuds a treat. You...
