TLDR: Michael promised the world but delivered a mediocre ring that appraised for much less than I paid him and, … get this,… he delivered it WEEKS AFTER MY ACTUAL PROPOSAL. WEEKS. No apology.

Also, after you pay him, he ghosts, good luck getting ahold of him!

I had one consultation with Michael. I needed a gorgeous engagement ring at a solid price. When I met with him he repeatedly promised me he’d make me the highest quality ring, and that it would appraise for much more than I paid. He promised that if there was ANYTHING she didn’t like about the ring, he’d make the changes without a problem and without charging labor. I told him my deadline and he laughed and said it was no problem at all. I was excited. I didn’t need to keep looking, I knew I had found my jeweler! How could anyone beat that pitch!

As the weeks went by he responded less and less. I started to get nervous but he had been really convincing so I tried to rely on his expertise. I had told him the deadline for the ring was about a week before my trip to Hawaii where I had planned to propose. Days before the deadline I started calling and texting and leaving voicemails. I would receive sporadic replies every few days saying everything was ok. Then the deadline passed. More calls, more voicemails, no response. I was in a full panic. I even drove to his shop but he’s only there for appointments. GUYS, I drove to the airport EMPTY HANDED and had to propose without the ring I PAID FOR. My last text to him was November 21, “PLEASE call me back ASAP”. His next response to me was December 7th over TWO WEEKS LATER with a picture of the ring. I asked him when I could pick it up. No response. I texted him a few times with the same question. He finally replied on December 14th telling me I could pick it up at the shop. I was able to get the ring but he was not there.

My Fiancé wanted some changes to the ring. In the months that followed, I contacted him countless times to set up an appointment. Occasionally he would reply and set up a date. Guess what? He did not show up to them.

I had the ring appraised and can you believe it, he lied about that too! The ring appraised for significantly less than I paid for it.

I have given Michael endless opportunities to redeem himself and his brand and he had no interest in them. I finally, politely asked for my money back in return for the ring and instead of trying to make things right, he told me to talk to his lawyer.

Well Well now where do I begin? A wedding ring has the power to be the one little thing that makes you feel unique and special. I didn’t want a ring out of jewelry store that everybody have. I wanted a ring for my 20 year wedding anniversary to be ONE OF ONE and MICHAEL RAVEN DID EXACTLY THAT FOR ME AND MY HUSBAND. Michael really outdid himself with this big rock. I mean I can’t even turn it around to hide if I wanted it to that’s how huge it is and I must say I can’t stop cheesing. My neice Tia said Auntie no matter how much money a celebrity have nobody can top your ring lol and I agreed. If you want a ONE OF ONE ring it’s a must you get Michael Raven to customized it for you. You will not regret it because his detailed work and price is unmatchable. He does it all from rings on your finger to rocks in your ears, he is just that amazing. Also I can not stress this enough that you can not rush your custom jewelry as you know every design is different for each client which requires a lengthy amount of time but just know patience is a virtue and once it’s all said and done you’ll be so happy you will plant a kiss on Michael lips lol that’s how perfect it will be.
